I couldn't find any decent info on this strain with the search.
Anyone know anything about this strain. Flower time, stretch ,taste, high ,smell and what not. Seems interesting. Anyone grow or smoke this one.
Preferably grown it.

Heya J, never smoked or grown it myself but there used to be a dude here that had a Serious Cherry pheno and it was baddass, very good yielder, high calyx to leaf ratio, i remember pics of beautifull colas with just a couple o leaves pokin out, easy trimmin, it got passed around a bit, everyone loved it in every way, taste ,high and yield. I remember one run he did all of her and pulled 4 elbows under 2k in ebb and flow buckets. 60 days flower give or take, im surprised to not see more AK around, if one has the real Cherry cut its gotta be staked, weak lil stems, but well worth it. One more thing about her is she was damn near on auto flower all the time, mom was best kept on 24/0 light or she would start throwin pistils, in a nutshell, she was killer.

wish Seriuos still gave 15 seeds, hope that helps a bit

peace

Thanks , thats helps alot.
I stake most of my strains. Most need it, I like mostly sativas.
I keep my moms under 24 hours of light so no worries there.
Can't wait.
I hear it is good medicine.

Right on JDOG!!! Heard nothing but great things about this cut.......a fellow breeder at another site was able to produce a hybrid of his cut.........but alas those beans have long been sold out LOL!!! Apparently it took him about 8 packs to find the cherry pheno from scratch...........so congrats on having the work done for ya bro!

where have you readed that it is a 47 days strain ? If that's the "47" in "AK47" it have nothing to do with the flowering time of the plants.

I've grown serious ak47 from seed with no cherry phenos and I've also grown a non-online cherry ak pheno years ago. Its slightly taller than the other phenos I've grown and takes 9-10 weeks like others have stated. It has a more sativa dominant high rather than the stare into space high of the other phenos. Not knockout by an means but a nice daytime high. It yields very well but not as much as the regular phenos. Worth a run if you enjoy those qualities (sativa, cherry taste, good yield).

There was a "cherry" pheno of the AK47xVBS going around awhile back. I think 1toke grew it from seed.

Wasn't the best but had a great cherry smell.

The cherry pheno or cherry wine pheno is passed around the bay area clubs, its called A4, and it so sweet.

Medium stretch, sativa dom but not too bad.

I wouldnt bother with the current AK line, I wasnt impressed, nothing like the AK i remember from 00 or so.

Nice one Jdog. I grew out 8 or so serious AK's, and didn't get anything close to cherry. Pretty rank buds though none the less. Heard it tastes like cherry ludens..America's favorite cough drop.

One of the phenos I had, A couple people said it tasted like cherries. I didn't think so, but it was super skunky and fruity. Curious to see if yours really taste like cherries. No one can knock serious seeds, Kali Mist and AK 47 to name a few. Multiple cup winners each. I'm ****in baked right now, it's early in the morn and I'm all out of indica. Strawberry D, and sativa bubble..****k

I've grown the AK47 for a year or so and I love it. It's one of the best overall plants that I have ever grown. The flavor is good, easy to grow, yields well and has good potency. I think it will always have a place in my garden. Oh, and it doesn't have very much stretch (my pheno).

I ran a pack of White Russian last year when they still came 15 to a pack. :) (AK-47 x White Widow) A few of the phenos had a distinct cherry aroma, and the one I ended with had a very cherry aroma. I ran these because I'd heard time and time again great things about the W. Russian but never had a chance to try it, and around here there is lots of AK and Bubblegum which gets old quick, so I eventually made the move. I'd never heard of cherry russian so it was a nice surprise. Out of 8 females there were 3-4 that leaned at least a little cherry. It makes sense a little that if the original cut that Simon uses is cherry pheno AK mother, that the possibility of the cherry coming through would be much greater than just pure AK beans that use two other plants to create the cherry AK (the cherry pheno is already there and established). It's probably not a 50/50 chance but much closer. Maybe I'm way off here but I ended with a close pheno description as the one that Bonzo left. The White Russian I ended with is badass, as Bonzo described; great yielder with high calyx to leaf, she does throw pistils easy in veg, but she grows with stronger branches though it sounds, which however, bend and almost snap due to the beefy buds. The last round we got 60 g. less than 2 lbs., with 1k in ebb and flow (coincidentally enough), some kola's the size of my leg. The cherry came through real nice in organic, can't say that same for the 'dro but can't not say it either, buds dry but stem still spongy so I'll report back when I can. I can tell you that the smoke is stronger than it smells and the lung freeze lasted way longer than expected. The true surprise this run was the NYCD that came out with way more amazing smell, and more importantly flavor than ever expected with dro, same table, yield couldn't compare but this is all another thread all together anyway. Anyway, I'd look toward White Russian for cherryness, hope this can help.
