In a sealed closet? no. You need fresh air to replenish CO2 and to help keep down temperatures.

Just wondering, why can't you use a vent?

Air Flow is KEY !

Air Flow is KEY !

Change your plans if they do not include fresh air intake of some sort....

Your plants will suffer from lack of co2 needed to grow without fresh air. An air purifier will take out the bullshit, pollen and impurities but it does not replace the CO2 the plants use from the air.

The only answer is a proper intake or your plants will be stunted and very bad producers. Without fresh air just forget growing it will be a waste of time

There's lots of info on here about building grow rooms, and if in doubt just ask, people are happy to help :D

The best way is to have an inlet vent at the bottom of your grow room. Then an exhaust vent at the top of the room with a fan sucking air out of the room. Cool air enters the bottom and as it warms and rises it is pushed out of the top.

Here you can see the cold-air in-vent at the back in my mini tent.

And the hot air is sucked out of the top exhaust here by a fan. Keeps temperatures nice and cool! If you have just one fan at the top pulling air out, it creates negative pressure inside the room and sucks air in the bottom vent (called a passive intake as it needs no fan).
