please, FFS, do a manual J. they are not hard to do. i learned how to do them the hard way... with just the book and it was still just like 3 or 4 few hours or work + googling.

now there are shit loads of youtube videos... combine that with the reference book and i bet you could do it in like 2 hours.

i have not watched these videos all the way through, but imho they should be stickied somewhere because they are just about all you would need to successfully fill out the manual J spread sheet.

the max indoor design temp only goes up to 78 last i checked, so if you are looking to do something higher, like 84, 82 or what ever you will have to do the calculations by hand by collecting the surface areas for each of the horizontal tables, walls, ceiling,windows, foundation etc.

a properly sized hvac unit will run longer cycling less, and dehumidify much better, an most importantly save you money.
