After making Green Dragon what do you do with the weed?

So I used Everclear to make Green Dragon Titration in 20 mins.... Could I smoke the bud after I dry it? What do you use it for? I bet there something on it still cause it smells like drunk weed =)

try mixing it with water and butter and simmering it until the alcohol s evaporatd and the remaining thc is transferred to the butter...not surehow long to simmer tho....then make brownies!

Most of the THC will now be in the Everclear. Do yourself a favour and throw it away. Smoking alcohol tainted green matter is not that pleasant.

I got a non-cook batch working right now for 420. I've been told to throw the residuals away. So I intend to, good luck though, let us know how it turns out.

Right in the trash. My brother came by after I used about 3-4oz and saw it in the can and freaked out. If I were making a cake or cookies I would maybe throw it in there.

Oh ya, I also run the ethanol through about 4 times. You made a TINCTURE - an alcoholic extract not a Titration - quantitativechemical analysis that is used to determine the unknown concentration of a known reactant.

yeah man throw that out. ive always read its better to keep it in longer than 20 minutes though so there might be some THC in there.

you could try drying it to release all the alcohol (everclear is 99% so that should be easy) and maybe vape it or cook with it?

I believe that you can use it for a healing poultice. The alcohol is helpful and effective. I have learned that you can store it cold or frozen in a jar and then apply the leaf/by-product on open wounds with the alcohol/leaf mixture(slightly moist) in some sort of light gauze or cloth. I have some sitting in the fridge now, waiting for mountain bike season and cuts...

everclear is not 99%... 75.5% or 95% (151 or 190 proof)... after 190 proof u can't take the alcohol out by distilling you need benzene which makes it toxic....

you can make butter with it, not sure what the remaining alcohol would do to it, but if you use the water separating method it should be fine.

I throw it out, preferably in the back yard of the police station. If I'm real desperate to get every milligram out, I do a second quick rinse with a bit more booze, then squeeze out the remaining liquid with my hands or a garlic press or similar.

I tried to smoke some once out of desperation. It sparked while burning and gave me the same kind of crappy high that you get from scraped resin hits. Not recommended.

but in the cannabutter thread (7 steps) some guys swears adding a 1/2 shot of everclear to the butter every 1/2 hour.... i'm sure everclear weed can't hurt... right?

We only have 2 police officers. I'll leave them a note with it, "leave all your confiscated bud at the park under the slide. I'll pick it up once a week and render it unusable with my secret thc extracting machine. When the thc is all gone, I'll leave the weed on your front steps so you'll know I'm ready to do another batch. You're welcome!"

Ha! Exactly -- there isn't much THC left, but we can still have fun with it! How about an anonymous tip leading cops to the 'stash', with a suspicion that the cannabis has been adulterated, and the police should probably do a complete chemical analysis to find out what this mysterious new 'stinky weed' is all about...

Hey Guys,

I just finished experimenting with my first run of Green Dragon. I can't get Everclear in my country, so I used Bacardi 151 so it resembles more of a Golden Dragon than anything else.

This was the recipe I used:

5 grams finely chopped weed
2 heaping teaspoons kief (gives a muddy brown colour)
1 slice lemon and lime rind (for summer drinks, you can ommit this)

Anyways to the point:

I gathered up all the green/brown leftover matter in a tea strainer and made tea with it, steeping out all the leftover thc and alcohol in the hot water. tasted pretty good with lemon and honey.

Also, 151 is flammable, and sometimes the flame isn't visible. I would not recommend drying it out and smoking it.
