Afropip's Malawi Gold

Was Afropip's Malawi Gold lime green and high energy? I harvested 3 small plants of Coastal Seed's Burmese x Malawi a couple of months ago. The Malawi side (per Coastal's strain description) is Afropips Malawi female x a fast flowering Afropips Malawi Male. 2 plants were dark green and one was lime green. The dark green pheno created a lightly energetic but quite introspective high. The lime green pheno (my favorite) is much more alert, higher energy (back of the eyeballs and front of head) sort of high. I smoked some of the lime green pheno at 8 pm last night and it kept me up buzzing well past midnight. I had so much energy that I ended up working out at 11:00 p.m. (something I never do), because I was so restless. This is the type of high I enjoy the most and very similar to the old Swazi line I have. I made many F2 seeds and was planning on further selecting for the larger lime green phenos that do well under a 13 to 11 hour light cycle.
Curious of others' experience with Afropip's Malawi Gold line?

From the two or three packs I have run of Afropips Malawi, they were a bit darker green, though some I found did have a high like you described.
The Burmese I have ran from Canada was lighter green, some were like the inside of a lime in color, high was different than the Malawi, but also very nice

@ Geneva_sativa, thanks for the response. I'll be growing. some iof the pure Coastal Burmese this fall also. From what I've read, alot of sativa fans like the high, and it tends not to muddy (make more narcotic) the high when hybridized with sativas.

It's been about ten years since I grew some Afropips Malawi, but from what I can remember, they were a darker green, flowered for around 14 weeks, and the high was not one that gave the "energy" that you describe-it was more of the type that will give the "1000 mile stare" if you get my gist.
If it gets harvested too early, it is not worth growing because it won't have good potency, so make sure you let it finish properly!
