I'm more of a sativa man myself and afghan kush is one of the only indicas I've kept around for more than a couple runs. Love the super hashy soft spicy taste and that narcotic type high that puts a dumb smile on your face.

I have just finished my second run of DNA's LA Confidential (LA OG "Affie" x Afghani) which i have always thought reminds me of the 'real' afghan kush i have had a couple times from humboldt, except the LAC might be a bit more master/bubba kush leaning in stone and smell than the old school afghan kush i used to get that was more citrus/hashy. BTW, lookin really nice gfarmer keep up the hard work My LA Con. has a unique spicy/coffee bubba pretty complex scent, with some definite sweet, classic ghani undertones and aftertaste. IMHO it does share a lot in the looks department and bud structure with bubba/master kush. So to me I have always considered the LAC a type of afghan kush and a super nice one IMO at that. It should be pointed out that not all Afganis are Afghan Kushes. It's just one Afghan variety.

I have recently added Black Afghan and 3 different years of inbred afghan seeds! But I still want the Afghan Kush.

Leon, You're definitely right there is only one true Afghan Kush, and I don't have it. I meant that there seems to be some similarities between the Afghan Kush and the LA Confidential in structure, smell, taste and high. So for anyone who is interested in the Afghan Kush genetics, without the means to obtain it, you might consider the LA confidential from DNA as a legit alternative. BTW, how is that black afghan, is that a purple pheno?

with this new information.... I'm just wondering what my afghan plants would be considered? is it kush or something else? its just seeds straight from the fields of Afghanistan.
