I got some Lashkar Gah in the fridge that originated from the city hence the name i believe former member tierra rojo brought them back, i grew 1 seed out & got a female nice pleasant relaxing smoke going to be popping the rest of the pack & doing a journal mid Feburary if anyone is interested,I'm planning on making a hybrid with another pure afghan hybrid Lapis Mtn Indica hope to put these out there. I didn't keep this female in the pic but crossed her with a moroccan & got a small amount of seeds, a few more Lashkar pix in my album

Yes sir those are nice, they are really close to the Afghan #1 I speak of, those big fat greasy leaves and a nutrient whore, I'm glad you made some to keep it alive....best of luck friend.and thanks for sharing

WOS's Afghan Kush has also very similar phenos in it and i think they are quite common. I had 3 out of 5 seeds that were quite similar to the one in the pic. Hashy, acrid, vegetable-fruity abit, perhaps a touch of pine and sweat, but not the best aromas in the Afghan Kush line. The effect was very dense and narcotic, abit boring.

Reminds me of some Herijuana phenos.

Make pure Lashkar Gah seeds also, if it's possible. I bet some people would want those, maybe more than few.

These plants look very attractive Mohadib. I like the dark green serrated leaves. They Kinda remind me of the Chemdog 91' Skunk VA clone. Also I am loving the columnar plant structure and thick stems. The female has a nice pointy bud formation, good resin production, and beautiful vibrant bright orange stigmas. Were the seeds collected in the Hindu Kush highlands or in the Mountain valleys? Also was the region a known old hash producing area, or a recently new hash producing area?

I don't know, sorry. I just know that the region they come from is currently a hash producing one. Maybe the guy I got them from knows more. I'll ask him the next time I speak to him.

Well, I can only comment on one female plant here, but the smoke is in fact very nice. Certainly not the best, but it has it's merit.
The aroma is really unique. When in flower, she reeks of orange peels, motor oil and fresh wet leather. When dried and cured, the oil and leather notes mostly disappear, while the orange peel smell develops into a more gentle aroma of sweet tangerines, mixed with subtle traces of peach and a faint fuely background.
When using a vaporizer the smell perfectly translates into the taste for the first few puffs. The later ones are dominated by a very pronounced taste of fresh Charras. Very nice, in my opinion :)

The high is creeping up on you and starts out very gentle. You kind of have the feeling it doesn't really work, but once you try to get up you instantly realize how baked you are. Although you get a slight head high as well, it's mostly a very relaxing body-stone. No racyness, no paranoia and no 'cloudyness' - your ability to think stay mostly intact, which is something I love about it. Great for a nice and relaxed evening after a stressful day.
Another nice feature is, that you can immediately kill off any unpleasant effects you might get from other strains. So if you just smoked some potent sativa-leaning stuff, and you realize you underestimated the psychedelic effects, smoking some of this works extremely well to get back into a state of relaxation and well being.

For those who can't travel to Afghanistan to collected their own seeds..

Derg Corra Collective has offered Helmand Afghani which was originally collected by a soldier, re-produced in Denmark, i think.
++++
Phylos Galaxy hash sample called Afghan Kush which is related to Northern Lights and some US kushes.

It's true origins isn't mentioned, but i think it could be from World of Seeds' Afghan Kush. I have found piney types from WOS's Afghan Kush and Northern Lights is piney, as is OG Kush which is apparently related to NL, according to info on Phylos Galaxy.

WOS might be making these seeds from their own parents now in Spain(?), but originally the genetics were collected from the valleys of Amu Darya river, not too far from Mazar i Sharif. So it's quite possible it's related to old hash cultivars, feral genetics that is.

This is telling us that the Afghan Kush sample is a clone named a bunch of different names - see via widget#2. These are clones named differently. Looks like this whole cluster should be called Bubba Kush ( two names with Bubba Kush and a bunch more just called Kush). They should get a sample from Matt 'Bubba' to validate this.

Widget#2:
CLONAL RELATIONSHIPS
The Phylos Galaxy contains 7 clones of Afghan Kush.
They are located at the same location as Afghan Kush in the Phylos Galaxy; the declared variety names of these samples follow.

Northern Lights
Platinum Bubba Kush
Master Kush
Pre-'98 Bubba Kush
Hindu Kush
Purple Kush
Puhi Fog

I apologize if someone's already ask this, but has anyone ever known of someone bringing back seeds from being in Afghanistan. You see on YouTube these massive outdoor grows I was just curious if anyone's ever grown or know someone that's grown some?

Their is actually a picture of Nevil years back in Afghanistan with some shady looking Arabs. It's been done probably not since before the Russian Afghan war. I wouldn't go Taliban ISIS Al Qaeda Mujahedeen that's probably the most dangerous place on earth I'd rather selectively breed Sensi Seeds Afghan stock Ben bought Nevil's company.
