From the four I ended up with three girls. These plants have not been tended to properly - so please excuse their looks. I never potted up as I should’ve, they remain in 3g pots. Was never sure if I was going to finish them, I was mostly interested in getting an idea of what the male might bring to the frame/structure of the offspring, as well as vigor. Found these plants completely knocked over more than a few times. Mostly by animals I suspect. But also recently a storm with winds strong enough to also knock over the one plant that’s in a 5g bucket. Anyway, they’ve had it rough.
The surprise in this test is the pink pistils. The mother was grown twice indoors under both LED and HPS and showed no signs of pink. I don’t have a lot of experience growing outdoors and am sure the total number of plants is fewer than 30. First time for pink. And the mother stinks a lot more outdoors.
Left to right, mother and her three girls:
Mother:
The trait showing in two of the three daughters as well, here's one:
And the tall girl, last to start flowering, is now showing pink:
They've come this far, so I will let them be and hope they finish decently.
