Advice I need a Humidifer & Timer - in Canada

Hello Everyone,

First let me start off by saying I am in Canada which limits me to buying in Canada due to exchange and duties etc....
I would love to drive locally and buy it a deal but usually you have to buy from amazon etc so I am flexible.

I am in need of advice on a:

-- TIMER:
that would have settings to turn on my intake fan for 5 minutes every 45min to an hour to keep air circulation but save on electricity.

-- HUMIDIFIER:
having a hard time with my veg getting the humidity up and it stays around 30-35% and will go to 40-41% but then when i turn intake fan on it drops back down.
I have LED Cobs with barely any heat at all.
I put a bucket of water in the tent last night to see if it helps.

Regardless there are tons of options for timers and humidifiers and they aren't specifically built for cannabis growing so I thought I would ask the professionals who have had experience :)

Thanks everyone!

Hey Dude,

There's a pile of info on the board already pertaining to both questions. You'll find you will get the best response to questions that haven't already been asked over and over. Im stoned so why not...

Timers are timers unless your running a bigger setup, just don't overload their capacities. Don't think a product is better because its catered to a specific market, especially hydroponics lol. Mine are from Ukranian Tire and cost $20. I have recycle timer that does second intervals for $15 off amazon.ca. A similar timer at the store is $120

Don't expect to have your humidity even close to the right range in a passive setup without allot of tinkering (if even possible). Its more about doing the best you can with what you got. Once the plants get bigger the humidity will increase dramatically.

Your other post that says your in a 5x5 tent with cobs, and low heat. You have an advantage with the panels running cooler as you don't need to run your fan non stop. That gives your humidity a chance to rise if only for a little while. Better than nothing man. You could try would be a bigger humidifier, or a speed controller on the fan but i wouldn't bother tbo. I spray my drain to waste tables down with water every hour. Yeah it sucks, but it gets me an extra 15-20% humidity in a 9x9 room.

Be mindful that unless your venting outside, your discharging humidity into your house. Even if you get a bigger humidifier, understand that humidity has to go somewhere once it leaves the tent. Easy way to wreck a house.

And as far as your post with the veg tent? Just go to growlights.ca or ebay man. You don't need a guerilla tent unless you have money to burn. Buy a cheap one and put a rack from walmart in it. Moms on bottom, clones/veg on top. Whammo.

Hope this helps, and remember to read more brother.
