Hey guys... I could really use some advice and experience. My bro grows a little for personal use. Has an official dr rec, is following the law as far as we both know. (less than 12, currently only 2 not even mature yet, and a few real small and a couple cuttings, and less than 2 oz 'processed') This is LA county CA.
The other day something went down in his neighborhood. (forgive the long explanation) Leo's were looking for 2 suspects in a home armed robbery. Apparently they had an army, like 4 square blocks shut down, he counted like 30 leos just in view of his porch. Two leos pound on the door, he opens it (mostly asleep, he works nights) and sees two dudes all in swat gear, helmets, vests, everything. Guns drawn but not pointed at him. They want to look in his back yard for a suspect. In his sleep he says 'sure', he feels he has nothing to hide and is a law abiding kid. They look around out there, K9 with them, they go into his outbuilding to check. A few minutes later they leave and he said as they were leaving he asked 'is everything cool?" One of them says ya, all ok.
Five minutes later they catch their guy. The helicopter leaves and the cops stand around for like 1/2 hr, slowly leaving one car at a time. (He got info they caught the guy from his neighbor who confirmed everything, this was going on for almost 2hrs before they woke him up.)
He goes out to his grow area and his grow tent and box were open, nothing apparently touched or messed with or missing. Just left open. He said it felt like they were saying " we know" .
I'm not as nervous but he's shitting bricks. I had to talk him into not destroying his grow and getting rid of everything. My question is, if he has a dr recommendation and certificate, has nothing that would indicate he's selling (which he isnt) and his grow is within 12 plants, (they dont even know if he has any cured and didnt ask) do you so cal guys think its nothing to worry about?
He's so freaked I think any minute he might go out and destroy his grow.
