I thought this may be of enough interest for some of you to follow along.
I welcome comments and discussion, but please keep it civil and friendly.
I am very open to suggestions, although I may not use the advice I receive every time; I certainly know there is a lot to learn from others experiences.
I will share a few small adventures from now on through fall.
I already pulled one greenhouse winter round. I have now started some small scale light dep and a few that have been naturally flowering outside for a couple weeks and should continue to. I can cover them if it starts to look like they are starting to reveg later.
The bulk of the light dep will be for seed, so I will be selecting males and females over then next few weeks.
The winter was very cold due to a severe lack of rain and snow this year. I had quite a few failures this winter but some cool success too. I learned more about my genetics and their acclimation to their environment. This springs seeds should have quite a bit of vigor and strength built into them.
Here are a few pics to start with.
Below: Chocolate Chunk and Blue Crack, being light deprived for 1 week so far
Below: Blue Dreams, The bigger one in the background is Chocolate Chunk
Below: Platinum OG that I am trying to reveg, harvested end of January from Greenhouse
Below: This a 2x4 tray with 15 seedlings of one I call Squatter, these are being light deprived and I hope to get a few good males from this batch in the next few weeks.
Below: This a close up of a seedling just for fun
The seedlings are in a mix of sunshine #4 and chunky coconut with only mycos and dr earth life added.
....feel free to ask questions
