All about my learning experience as I help create pollen and cross breed it into a different strain of my choice. Just to see what happens and to see how good or bad the end product ultimately becomes. Here I will post pics of my journey as I learn to not screw up my husbands medicine in the other room.

First Experiment ;-)

Strains from Bodhi Seeds and JW

First Male: Blue Tara
Second Male: Ancient OG
Lady Boy ;-) : Reversed GG#4

First Female: Blue Tara
Second Female: GG#4
Third Female: Killer Queen

Step one all done
I have already collected Blue Tara pollen and it's currently drying.
(Note: Way novice work here)

Nice, if you don't mind me asking... what are you crossing?

Old bagseed girl to a NYCD X Sensi Star boy plant,
on the F2 selection part, only females this round
to back cross to the NYCD X Sensi Star boy plant.

Then another open pollination.

The goal to get as much of the NYCD X Sensi Star
expressed and stable.

I did a reversal on a Thai Haze x Skunk, S1 last year.
Its important to flex one's production muscles,
so to speak.

How's that homework going Woman! I see ya got this lil shin dig going. Got some Ancient OG pollen to collect tonight, an maybe some reversed GG#4 pollen when ya get off work.

I killed the Canna Tsu, Golden Goat, Trainwreck bagseeds in flower since they were not that special so the only thing ya got to dust with the pollen is the GG#4, Blue Tara an the Killer Queen females.

Tonight seems like a good night to get the girls knocked up Shall we?

Making beans is fun, I've only done one reversal to make beans before though so I'll be watching with interest.

Mahalo! It sure is a project. I am so glad my hubby is patient with my learning process. Tonight I took pollen from the Ancient OG and took out just about 6 or 7 clusters of GG#4 reversed pollen and stored them on paper to dry.

Tomorrow we will pollinate branches selectively and mark them. I will post pics tomorrow night.

Crossing these since my husband killed the undesirables:

GG#4 reversed pollen on GG#4, Killer Queen, and Blue Tara.

Blue Tara pollen on " " " " "

Ancient OG pollen on " " " " "

Coco for now. It's worked very well for us in the past but are itching to start full organic as soon as we regain a backyard.

In the meantime I am trying selective pollination. Hope to keep some order.

I would love to make some worthy crosses for my husband to play with because seeds aren't cheap. But my main long term goal is to cross some good strains with extremely high CBD's. Mahalo for the questions. They are welcomed anytime. Helps me in my learning process.

What I've found easiest, is to get colored kids craft pipe cleaners for a dollar in the art supply aisle at wallyworld...


red=gg4, so every branch marked with a piece of red pipe cleaner will be from that pollen
blue=ancient og, etc...

makes it real easy to keep track of what pollen went where when you move and rotate your plants.
I tend to throw 3-4 pollens at the exact same plant.

^^ That’s exactly what I do, cut them into about 3-4 inch lengths. I used to use different color twist ties but could never find enough colors.
