A dehumidifier will most certainly raise the temp in the room/tent whathaveyou.
It spits out the dried hot air from the back, it doesn't cool at all, nothing but warm air comes out of it.

dehus definitely generate some heat (from the compressor and a lesser extent the fan)

these precharged ACs are a joke
air conditionning is the backbone of a sealed room
saving on it is an heresy
you just need a set of manometer, a vaccum pump, a tube cutter and dudgeon tool to install some refrigeration equipment
then you have some serious reliable system

Room temperature or slightly warmer?
If you have ever used a dehumidifier you would know it releases HOT air.
I keep a barn in Michigan heated throughout the winter nights with nothing but hot air from my dehueys.
