Activated Carbon?

I've seen many tutorials on building the carbon scrubbers, but the carbon is always left out of the pictures. Is this the right stuff?

Pellets, not powder right?

the pellets are not as good as the rocks because the pellets dont have as much surface area to catch the odors...just looked at the link and yes it is what you want....peace

thanks x420 op

I ended up purchasing this activated carbon... pellets look to be about the size you mentioned, and the label says something about rinsing it before use. does this not eliminate all the dust?

thanks for the reply!

Yeah, rinsing will keep the dust from blowing all over the place when you turn your fan on. I never bother since mine's just in an attic.....LOL
Hey, good luck with your set up, bro.

THE Place to get your carbon

I think the carbon spoken about in this thread is kinda expensive. I am only trying to save people some money, and say that this carbon in the 5 gal. bucket is the schnizzle. Go here , and check it out. I am sure it will work perfectly for what you are trying to accomplish.

thanks guys, i will eventually use this stuff. the cab has been a work in progress for about a month..and now its to cold. but will definetly rinse it first. the 5g bucket would probably last me 20years, but it may be a better option in the future...

thanks and Good luck to both of you,

That is probably the best carbon I've ever seen, both in material and price.

Thank you for that link homerg.
