ACE Haze X grow

Whew, been a busy couple weeks with a lot of time away from home. We’re a day shy of 12 week this morning. I’m still adapting to this new growing style and have found I need to make a few adjustments when it comes to Calcium as well as PK in my soil mix.
I also finally found the Bruce Jenner hiding in my tent. It’s the C5xKC. Only a few Nanners here and there that haven’t been opening fully. Downside is one of them was right near the fan so everything got a slight dusting. Oh well. Aside from that and a little bit of crispiness on leaves closer to the lights things are going really well.

KA5H3 is in the middle of a second reflowering and really putting on the density now. The first flowering left the buds very fluffy and loose feeling. With the reflowering they’ve hardened up a bunch. The pepper smell is still there but is being overshadowed by a sweet floral smell with the feint livery back ground.

The C5xKC, aside from the few Nanners is a damn beauty. Tall foxtails on a lot of the buds, but is also reflowering a little and starting to bulk up. Very perfumed and incensy smells. Deep and earthy, the citrus smell from early flower is currently non existent.

The Tikal smells amazing. It still has the slightly peach and incense smell, but it has also developed a really sweet smell along with a cleaner smell of some sort. Almost like a urinal cake in a good way mixed with a cleaner they used to use at the YMCA pool I grew up going to. I’m really curious to see how she turns out. She’s just starting to slightly reflower again.

The Super Malawi Haze. I wish I could get a picture of all of her at once. Freaking Donkzilla and heavy/dense. Very little smell at all. Just a slight woodines. Very Malawi looking resin glands and flower development. Similar flower structure to my Malawi leaning KA5H last year. She kinda scares me. 😂

Not sure how much longer they have to go. I think I’m going to wait out the current reflowering and see how they look.

Thanks a lot for the new thread and ACE Haze run Cactus Squatter :huggy:I love to read you comments and admire the beauty of your plants.

Seems like you got quite archetypal expressions of each strain! This run Killer A5 Haze looks a lot like a balanced A5 Haze pheno, glad the livery incense is starting to come up, along with flowery background, so distinctive from A5.

Tikal peach incensey pheno is always a joy to find and smell from the start of the second half of flowering. it's the type of sativa weed that embraces and enhances your daily activities, and makes everyone smile in social meetings, they will come to visit you again after enjoy Tikal :)

The C5 x KC (as you correctly said) looks like a gigantic and a more sativa version of Kali China. Its flowering started showing evident Kali China influence in the flower structure, glad you are finding KC contributing with her complex terps early in the first weeks (this usually makes later the smoke more complex and kind). Looking at her thin leaves (from Haze C) and now with the new waves of flowering, I foresee that the rest of the flowering will evolve showing much more Haze influence than at the start, anyway let's wait she speaks by herself.

Both Super Malawi Haze parental plants have faint aromas during flowering: Nevil's Haze mother is woody incensey, sweeter in some Super Malawi Haze individuals, while Malawi Killler as you well know is mostly woody oily. Your SMH is looking spectacular in your last update ;)

Just ripped a sample bowel with a 2 day dried, lower branch, low light, wispy as hell little larf nug of the Super Malawi Haze.
With my high tolerance and it being early, uncured and a larf I wasn’t expecting much… wowza she’s got some power already.

I can’t freaking wait for this plant to be done. It’s a beautiful way to kick off the end of a long and very physically demanding day. Very relaxing but without sleepiness, great headspace, gentler feel than the other Killer Malawi crosses I’ve experienced.

Cut them all down 2 days ago. My travel schedule got insane and this was my window.
The killer A5 and the C5KC were definitely ready. The c5kc probably a few days past peak due to when I got home from a trip.
The SMH was in a perfect harvest window as was the Tikal.
Total they ran 15 weeks from flipping my lights to 12/12&11/13, with about 13 weeks or so of them actually flowering.

I didn’t get any final pics due to my schedule and a severe lack of time. I basically had time to come home, chop and hand, and then scoot for another 2 days before coming back home.
I’ll get some good trimmed up shots of the buds in a few days though.

All of them yielded really well and so far looks like minimal loss. I had some leaf hoppers get in that ruined some lower buds on the A5 with their sugar poo, but aside from that it’s all looking great. Yield on the Tikal and SMH is downright amazing.

Congrats on another successful harvest Cactus Squatter :smoke: hope it provides lots of fun and good moments for summer time!
Glad you liked the early smoke test on your Super Malawi Haze, it will still improve a lot, as you may know, both Nevil's Haze and Killer Malawi improve a lot after 3 months of good curing.
