Ace got Frankincense terps ?

Hi.
i like to know if there are any ace strains with a frankincense aroma ?

In their strain descriptions it says often 'incense', but does it mean the incense-sticks like aroma or the church frankincense.

Since i had an NL5 x Haze pheno (from Sensiseeds around 2010) with pure frankincense aroma, i am on the hunt for this type.

Ps: just harvested the Malawi x Panama, it's really strong and fire.

The Cannabiogen Panama I grew years ago had an aroma that came pretty close to what I would call frankincense, if by frankincense you mean a smell similar to the resin of the boswellia tree. But not as frankincensey as nineties and early 2000s Dutch weed like Western Winds aka Kali Mist and the like. Edit: So I guess similar phenos can be found in Ace'S Panama

However, I think there is a lot of confusion about frankincese smells in cannabis because both real frankincense (that is the resin of the boswellia tree, and be aware that there's different types that have different aroma profiles, frankincense from Oman will be different from India or Ethiopia) and cheaper holy smokes incense products containing sandalwood and other aromatic components have and are being used in churches from Athens to LA because real frankincense is really expensive.

So it might well be that somebody tells you this or that strain smells like the real frankincense they know from church when in their church cheaper incense products are being burned.

Do you mean old basement/ old wood house funk?

I'm referring to catholic church incense as a kid is what I mean when I say frankensince. Rich flowery musky woody? Hard to describe. But ya there's lots of incense smells in cannabis it's complicated

Yeah I mean catholic churches use all kinds of incense depending on region, budget etc. That's the problem.

On top of that, Boswellia trees produce a lot of different terps such as pinene and limonene and...boswellic acids. And I actually suspect certain rare phenos of cannabis to be capable of producing boswellic acid as well but I never did any extensive research on that. If I am wrong here feel free to correct me.

I could imagine that the 90s and 2000s Dutch weed that smelled so extremely frankincensey contained this group of terpenes. So maybe if there is someone out there who still has the piff, please do the community a favor and get a bud screened for boswellic acid:))

Boswellic acids aren't terps, but to stay on topic, @subspacegrow Ace has A5 haze, which you can try for the frankie terps.

No, its too long ago. but i remember having 12 Weeks phenos with these haze like long branches, very huge amount of buds but also thin and foxtailing. had aroma of spices, flower and pepper.
My franky pheno was an indica like one, 8 weeks of flower, dense NL like buds. It was also kind of honey sour creamy but when burned, the room smelled like church, without standard weed aroma. People didnt smelled cannabis when smoked, so it was also nice for "stealth" smoking around people when it was illegal.

I mailed Ace and they recommed the Panama A5 haze.
will try also kali china and kA5hz

So its... everything with A5 for the frankytermps.

I am a litte bit confused. What is A5 ? somewhere it says Nevilles Haze, others say NL5 x Haze A.

And what was the Sensi NL5xHz ? was it NL x Haze A or xHaze C or both or just xHaze?
