This is a male Bangi Haze (in the 3rd pic) just starting to flower . Never seen a male taking that long to show sex and flower...

The other two females in the niche have at last started flowering...
I am surprised at the mediocre foliage I am not used to...

Thanks, mate!
pity those 2D pics don't do much justice to them plants...
As for harvesting time, be they ready to chop by the end of September, I'd be more than happy...

Oye, chaos!
I've got two crosses, the one in the ground is Old M killer x P elite and two OMk x P goddess sitting in 35 lt pots, all three looking very much alike...

:tiphat:Orfeas

Cool :)

I will get some photos of all my phenos and we can fill up the ACE forum with our Panalawi / Malanama comparison shots !

Right on, Chaos!

Two Old Malawi killer x Panama Goddess looking almost identical the only difference being a tad advanced flowering of the second (3rd & 4th pic), both at 140 cm . I'll try to show more detailed pics next time...:)

Hi orfeas,

I'm glad to see you are catching up the season so well despite the late planting.
You really have 'green fingers' ;)

It's going to be very interesting to have the chance to compare both Malawi/Panama and Panama/Malawi new hybrids.

Best wishes for the upcoming weeks of flowering!

Gracias, jovenito! :)

My colour blindness doesn't allow me to confirm the colour of my fingers, so I'll go along with your saying so
Yet, this Bangi is saying I've got pale green fingers...:chin:
What have you to say, por favor?

Podes las ramas por favor :)

El poeta dice la verdad...

This MxP has reached 180 cm and still climbing...I reckon it's just about time she stopped, otherwise she'll have to duck...started budding nicely though with a very pleasant hint of vanilla...

Well, well, the two-day incessant torrents eventually took their toll on my nearing harvest BKHP x EP and they had me chop the main 30 cm cola ...nugs were so solid that drove me to naive thoughts of no mould penetrating...mould had other plans though...
Good news is a plethora of amber trichs that drives my worries away...

This M x P elite(fem) has been trained to fend bad eyes off...takes it easy with flowering and by the looks of it, early November's gonna be the time...

Thanks heaps, kono! Dolor is not really a dolor for she's almost done and the damage is minimal ...
I wish the damage would be that little later on when things get really wet...
Atm weather is really spectacular, warm with lots of sunshine, but everything is soggy farking wet till about tenish ...

This Bangi has been playing up for quite some time now...started with clawing then yellowing fan leaves and finally switched to twisting...
Yet, she's budding on nicely in a foxtail fashion...I like that... :)

I'm at a loss what to discern ... N or Z or sth else :dunno:

The leaves belong to a M x P sitting in a 35 lt pot and I am cautious about boosting up N ...

Baron Greenback

Not that I am any sort of expert but I've read that sometimes, the longer flowering varieties do need extra nitrogen for longer than an indica for example.
There's a grower here called Mid Town, he grows indoor trees and uses nitrogen throughout the flowering cycle and gets great results.
Personally, if a longer flowering variety needs more nitrogen, I go back to veg. nutrient for a week or 2 if needs be - or until they look right again :)
What's the worst that can happen?

A 8-9 Indica can still have descent amounts of nitrogen imo up too the 3-4 week. Sativas around 12-14 weeks up too 6 th week , then start to ramp up the K and P . I have never used grow Nutes , as I think the plants grow a lot better root systems and stronger trunks and branches without that full dose of nitrogen . All my plants are extremely green and healthy.

Thanks heaps lads!
Next time I feed her, I'll add some more N...yet after scroutinous observation, I reckon it might be K or S deficiency...doesn't look bad anyway...

Bangi Haze now steaming ahead, making me estimate another two weeks max, since most trichs have already turned milky...

Weather is getting wetter and wetter and I might as well shoot some M x P elite fem little colas before the despicable horrid mould shows up and forces me to prematurely grab me scissors and start decapitating... got to say she's packing volume and trichs quite fast, which is very optimistic...
She gives out an agreable fragrance reminiscent of vanilla, in contrast to M x P goddess whose odour is vague and not quite pleasant...

Enjoy!

Hi Orfeas...

Neither of the parents rot with just rain... only where they have caterpillar (or other) damage, it is rainy here too, but mine are out for the duration, I prefer to have 50% dank and 50% thrown away in the bin, rotten, than half matured weed that just tickles, not kills...
