Hey hey ^^ the man himself is here. Yeah, the Acapulco Gold you have bodhi, is clearly a special type of strain. Have not smoked any yet, just looking at it. Could be THE AG, if such a thing exists.

I think you are gonna like your Bodhi Acapulco Gold there motaman. I am really impressed with what I have seen so far. The best would to be able to finish them outside high in the mountains, like over 5000 feet up. I am gonna look around my area for a safe space to try that.

Yesum thanks James Bean has them for sale again , going to buy seeds next week if I can sell my sour diesel and lemon garlic of at the dispensary Tuesday . Two people murdered here yesterday over weed , the killings keep happening .

Thank you

Thank you

this is a great thread...

i dont get alot of time these days to surf the forums..

but its a real treat when i do, so much great info and sharing...

***mustafunk is absolutley correct.... the ag is from liquid kid who got them from his mentor greywolf. ive had to tip toe around the subject for a bit because i was not sure liquid kid wanted to be revealed, but i got some confirmation its ok to share the info. most of the full grows of the ag are on two private sites that has also made things harder to divulge. the ag is a vintage line that greywolf obtained long ago, its a creative sativa that lends itself to music and merrymaking, its a 14-16 weeker, and is semi stable indoors... a friend really wanted to grow some ag and i offered him mine under the promise to make more so everyone could enjoy them, the nierika freebies are those seeds......

the zipolite was from an oaxaca trip around 8 years ago, ive grown her seeds on and off since then. its mostly an electric commercial hybrid with a whole range of phenos, 8-12 weeks, with some really special sativas hidden in the line. aromas range from cedar to tropical fruits and citrus. my favorite smoke from that trip was a classic mexican sativa spear from mazunte but it was lost in a mishp.
Thank you very much for bringing the AG to us. Beautiful plants that are fun to bend and tie. They love the cmh and lizard lights.

If you couldn't score the Bodhi AG I'd be happy to send you some. Mine were planted Dec 14th, don't remember when I put them into flower, probably around New Years Day. I finally pollinated them late with an AG male. Looks like the seeds will be ripe in about two weeks . They are barely making some white pistils still. They have been at 10.5/13.5 for around 8weeks. If I weren't waiting for the seeds to ripen, I could harvest the end of this week, but I'll let one go till ripe.

Another Acapulco Gold test to make sure and provide scientific evidence of trippiness. 2 hits this time and more of the same. The seeded one provides a mellow experience, nothing more. The cat bitten one gives a full on trip for around 20 to 30 minutes.

Gotta get up in the mountains hiking and toke this sometime. I think it would be a perfect fit for nature activities.

Interesting effects. I have three females, have smoked some of the small lower buds, not all the same. I mixed these buds up so have yet to note which comes from which. One is my favorite, it is real clear and somewhat trippy. For me, it brings on a real feel-good euphoria.

Hi, old Mexican sativas/NLD's are famous and renowned specially for their clear high.

Mexican strains are thought of as tall, upright plants of moderate to large size with light to dark green, large leaves. The leaves are made up of long, medium width, moderately serrated leaflets arranged in a circular array. The plants mature relatively early in comparison to strains from Colombia or Thailand and produce many long floral clusters with a high calyx-to-leaf ratio and highly cerebral psychoactivity. Michoacan strains tend to have very slender leaves and a very high calyx-to-leaf ratio as do Guerreran strains, but Oaxacan strains tend to be broader-leafed, often with leafier floral clusters. Oaxacan strains are generally the largest and grow vigorously, while Michoacan strains are smaller and more delicate. Guerreran strains are often short and develop long, upright lower limbs. Seeds from most Mexican strains are fairly large, ovoid, and slightly flattened with a light colored grey or brown, unmottled perianth.

This talks about Jamaicans but stablish a relation among the type of high: clear and cerebral.
Jamaican strains produce a psychoactive effect of a particularly clear and cerebral nature, unlike many Colombian strains. Some strains may also have come to Jamaica from the Caribbean coast of Mexico, and this may account for the introduction of cerebral green strains.

Even if the Jamaicans are not related with Mexicans, according to this both share a clear and cerebral high.

Greetings.

Yeah I grew it and it is Bodhi's. The stuff I got long ago typically had reddish pistils if I remember right. This has orange or gold pistils and if it sat in the jar a few months would start turning gold I am sure. This stuff was jarred 12 days ago, so the chlorophyll is still in there good. That is the musty type smell I bet.

The other batch was jarred 20 days ago and smells sweeter. This is the standout of the various Mexican and Central American strains that I have grown. The Guatemalan is so comforting, that is outstanding in it's own way.

^^ Those pics are like a Playboy playmate collection to me, bud porn.

Lots of people that were not around for those days would look at those as schwag though. Funny how that works?

Wow! Can't believe Oaxacan varieties have three of the top four spots! '77 must have been a good growing season in Oaxaca. I hear good things about the '79 Oaxaca too ;)

Not sure about the Top 40 as Hawaiian and Thai were selling for more than any Mexican or Colombian as far as I know. Other than color most of the buds look very much alike. Airy with thin leaves.

As far as my Top 40 the best of the Mexican would be right up there with any of the rest.

"Very little weight to the 'buds' which are not buds in the sense of afghan hybrids"

Thats funny "not buds" I like that !

That's a good sign in this case
