motaman,

Sending Arjan ANYWHERE is the kiss of death for that landrace. And you KNOW you are never going to see those seeds. Only feminized gelato crosses.

Oh and the farmers with the landrace? No more growing his feminized seeds of crap.

I suspect Arjan is an agent of western intelligence's global war on Cannabis. His harmful actions seem too strategic and intentional. He is trying to rid the world of Landrace Cannabis in my opinion.

Bodhi's AG @ 11 weeks

Bodhi's AG @ 11 weeks

Here is a couple of Bodhi's A.G. that have been 12/12 from seed 11 weeks ago. They are in 2 gallon pots so they'll be small but I'm hoping for better results. Thought I'd try it one more time.

Edit: sorry about the quality of the pic, I'll update it in another month or so :watchplant:

I have some double AG from Snowhigh that I'm excited about. Does anyone know when I might expect them to finish out doors at 38°lattitude near oakland, CA?

Nothing wrong with those plants. :dance013:

It's better to have controlled growth than a crazy tree.

I've said it many times before that smaller pots is the key to controlled Sativa growth.

Can't wait to breed with my Acapulco Gold from Bodhi one day.

Yeah, the last one I did inside in a 5 gallon pot and it got away from me....definitely out of control. These were topped pretty early on just in case I need to bring them in when the weather changes, plus I put them in my garage for 12 hours every night. I'm getting too old to be doing that with big uns.

For a real, long flowering Sativa, Id start them on 12 hours, and Bend them over starting very early.
I also like really strong light on Sativas. The more the merrier. But I do like them in large containers, though I can get away with it.
If ya got a clone, after its rooted really well, just grow it on 12/12. 11/13.

You can also cut every other alternating leaf on a clone, and then top it at the 6th node.

From Seed, cut off the first true serrated leaf on 1 side, then when the second set forms, cut the Opposite Leaf, and do this alternating until the 6th Node, then top it, and then train the branches by bending them.

Those two plants look great. In fact it is far more difficult to grow them controling their size without a great loss of buds than allowing them to grow into 10' tall monsters. That is where you can see a skilled and experienced grower.

I have been told Snowhigh's AG look alike but it is better in potency than Bodhi's one. But in the Suroeste Mexicana which is crossed with a Brown Purple Michoacan. I wasn't aware about the Snow's AG was available in pure form. I know he used AG from two different seed batches from late 60's and early 70's.

Growing sativas under 12/12 creates more hassle.

I like different light schedules.

Also, I keep my plants in solo cups til about 8-12 nodes. Sometimes I even let them start flowering in solo cup or 4" then transplant into big pots a couple weeks into flower.

Thats for tent growing.

Ive also found 5-7 gal sativas allowed to veg for a year are much more tame in flowering.

Most people have a difficult time growing sativas because people on the intranets tell them to flower a fresh clone under 12/12 or even 12/12 from seed.
Prolly the worst advice for a sativa and thats why they got a bad rap.

My dance with this strain so far definitely does not mirror the low potency experience of in this thread. The plant I’m familiar with does not have ultra-wispy leaves, either, they’re narrow leaves, for sure, but less fanned out. The plant has a VERY distinctive, almost matte gray-green leaf color unlike any I’ve seen in modern color-balanced photos of any strain. When the trichomes mature, and there are still some new green bud leaves peeking out, the buds project a distinct, coppery sheen.

And it will destroy you.

This is the strongest, most “magic spell” experience bud I have ever smoked, and this was bred from >30 year old, still in the luggage it came back from Mexico in, bagseed. Going to sleep after that chillum? Enjoy your visuals. That’s not really an electric field tingling it’s way down your quads to your toes, so enjoy it. Gotta take a piss? Here’s 8 new riffs you can actually hear playing with your brain, and oh, this is how to visualize that complicated physical process you couldn’t figure out yesterday.

I am zero percent surprised about rumors MIT nerds loved this stuff.

There are a couple options here I think.

I made two open crosses last bloom. I pollinated both this empress and a very nice CBG Destroyer phenotype with two Maui Wowie males (also not from any modern stock). Of those offspring, one Maui Wowie x Acapulco Gold so far is male, and the 6 MW x Destroyer seedlings should show sex this week, so I plan at a minimum to backcross both to the mother Acapulco Gold plant.

I could also colloidal silver a clone/branch of the mother. Otherwise not sure about an appropriate male.

This photo is not mine:

"As the legend was told, this plant came from one of 3 forty(40) year old seeds. The universe gave us a gift,...and some responsibility. She's been cloned and preserved."
