Hello.
Managing my garden today, I noticed my Mazar al-sherif plants had started developing calyxes at the nodes, despite being only about a foot tall.
The clones were purchased at club, transplanted into small pots, "hardened-off" for about about two weeks, then transplanted into their final bigger pots.
The only thing in their environment that has changed was the transplant into their final pots with a tiny bit of 3-4-3 foxfarm peace of mind. The plants are not in fun sun, they receive about 6-7 hours of direct sunlight a day Other than that, no fertilizers have been applied. Soil is a mixture of compost and ocean forest.
The Mazars were the healthiest plants of the bunch, and even now, they look healthy, despite having the starts of female flowers mid june.
Garden is in Cali, so I was of not expecting flowering to start for a few weeks.
So
Is anyone familiar with Mazar encountering this problem? Are they flowering normally and I should have just started way earlier? Did I fuck up their photoperiod somehow? I read on another forum Mazar requires twice the amount of nitrogen as other strains, could this be contributing to the problem?
Does anyone have any advice on this subject? Even just your experiences growing Mazar outdoors would be appreciated.
If I can find a camera I'll bump this post with some pictures.
Thanks for guys' time.
