Hey @Absorber what ratio of Mega crop are you feeding the Auto mate? I have some Autos arriving soon and interested in what your feeding is mate 👍 Thanks
I dont go off the user guide on the bag.
I use 3 ltr bottles to carry up tree for waterings and i mix those bottles to roughly 500ppm which is usually 1 scoop with a 1/4 teaspoon measuring scoop .
My plant is in a soil blend in a SIP

So 1 scoop plus a 1/4 teaspoon for 3 ltes of water. That's for soil mix. I was going to use Coco perlite mix would the mix be the same or less than that you reckon?
No i only use a slightly heaped 1/4 teaspoon scoop just the one for 3 ltrs of water .
I feel you might be ok at that mix but being in coco and perlite mix you may want to increase it a little ,not much id probably run it at 650ppm .
Some people may run things higher but i find plants will drink more if they want it instead of locking up from a high mix or build up of salts .

Any other coco people here? We grow in a coco peat/perlite mix, 80/20% coir is bigger lumps includes the outer shell of the coconuts. Peat is the inside and middle layer only - allegedly they also add some Myco. But I just bought 100 litres of rice husks (Thailand grows a lot of coconuts and a lot of rice so use what is to hand, right?)

I've read/watched people say rice husks not only provide silica but also improves the actual uptake of silica. - anyone heard else heard that? Its cheap so happy having the experiment!
