Hi mi Bredda,
thank you for ur kind comment!
I'm using a mix of home made compost and golden peat moss
Here's how i proceed for UP transplantation in 11l pots
5l compost IMG_20240625_190344.jpg IMG_20240625_190400.jpg
Wicked hungry redworms

2,5L/3L peatmoss blond or black
2,5L/3L Light mix biobizz
IMG_20240625_190750.jpg
Mixing with hand peatmoss and compost first in the bottom of the 11l pots 3Lcompost/1Lpeatmoss

Dig a little hole/nest for the Roots of the plant:

Border with the quasi total remaining of the compost :

Then mix on the top of the pot the remaining compost/peat and the Light mix:

Thanks for the creating the thread @JAHNODUB :smoke: and for the updates on this new regular cross.

Stretchy and vigorous like the C5 x Zamaldelica you just finished, i wonder if she will explode later in advanced flowering like the C5 cross with Zamaldelica did. Keep the feeding strong on macronutrients (nitrogen too) at least until reaching 2/3 parts of flowering.

A5 is female clone only. There’s no male A5 anymore as far as I know. Usually is the first named cultivar in a cross female.

So I presume Zam has always been the male.
Some breeders get it switched up, but Ace doesn't. Yeah female x male

In the Zam x A5 ….. the A5 female clone is reversed to create pollen, then that pollen is used to create fem seeds in the female Zamaldelicas.

In the A5 x Zam it’s the opposite, the female Zamaldelica clones are reversed to create pollen and that pollen is then used on the A5 clone. Same thing, creating fem seeds.

What consolidated is asking is what are the differences in the two different crosses in terms of growth, flower production, effects, terpines etc etc….. as switching the order of the pollinator vs the pollen receiver in this manner often creates different results in the offspring.

Just as an FYI to those that are curious and not already aware of this process.

Well this thread started as A5 haze x Zam regulars, so the Zamaldelica has to be a male, but I agree with what you're saying about creating fem seeds. The plant they reversed would still be named in the male or father position.

Interesting question on the fem cross. If the mother/pollen donor makes a difference. Prolly dubi knows the answer.

There's a bunch of R & D crosses that have me interested, but I bought too many seeds already....I was thinking about picking up the fem version of this cross and C5 x Panama regs, that sounds great!

Yes that’s correct, my apologies it’s been a long day. I’m wiped. In this case since the seeds are regs …. Then normal Zamaldelica males were used on the A5 clone. But if it’s listed as Zam x A5 …. Then seeds should be fem because the A5 was reversed and used as the father.

It does make a difference in the case where a female plant is reversed. You can see that often in ACEs offerings. A good example is Malawi x Panama and Panama x Malawi.

In both cases Panama goddess is used. In the first case Panama goddess is reversed and used to pollinate Malawi females. In the second, in the case of the fem seeds…. A Malawi female is reversed and used to pollinate Panama goddess. The Malawi x Panama cross leans much more Malawi with overall stronger and more Malawi like effects but less loud terpines. In the second case the offspring take after Panama goddess much more and carry the louder lemony more refined terpines of the Panama goddess with more frequency.

Thanks for correcting me it was an important distinction to make. Like I said super beat today 💤
