Very indica looking Pom Pom buds.
Not a lot of aroma just yet, slight oily smell on stems and and fluffy buds

Yeah, the leaves and flower distribution have some NL #5 influence although there's also lots of sativa influence in the bud structure and flower/leaf ratio with so many long pistils in the buds.

So almost 7 weeks now.This plant has no smell at all. Has are very dense and hard buds.

I’ve changed the light times . So I can put them out in sun for 5-6 hours then back under led. While I’m off work. 2 -3 weeks max ti finish

Hey Dubi, she is almost done done now. Just waiting for the last small flush of flowers to finish.
She has a slight oily NL smell , only slight though.
The 3 amigos. Zam 2, Zam 1 and Congo

Yes ,I had light and power issues due to black outs . She didn’t finish great .
But I’ll pop a few more seeds soon

Nothing like I expected from this plant .

So I’ve just tried the first bud . Just nicely dried, surprisingly so resinous. Trichs are very small but plentiful within the bud. Lots of hairs.
With all the lighting issues she did all right.
Buds are a bit airy , but that’s ok.
Smoke report……
Aroma is so complex , it’s hard to describe. It has so many things going on with it.
Oily….wood oily varnish ,not sump oil like Malawi
Sweet liquorice
Floral notes almost rose
Tried in Mighty vape first.
Straight away I got a liquorice taste followed by a mild wood after taste . But with enough liquorice and floral , that the woodiness wasn’t to overpowering , like some haze crosses.
Glass bowl bong…..
It was spicy, ( it is fresh). But I actually like that spiciness of fresh sativa.
A lot more floral with citrus notes .nice
So I’ll be honest , I wasn’t expecting much from this….After the small vape, the bong hit . I was pleasantly high. With I nice pleasant out look. Put a smile on my face and made me relaxed and happy.
Very nice smoke, with extremely complex and unusual terp profle.
I’ll pop a few more and see how they go.
I’ve grown a whole array of Ace strains over about 8 years. The plants and terp profiles are still unmatched in my book.
I Came back to edit this. I’ll add on that .out of the vape it had a fishy almost fish scale taste and smell, but in a good way.
And weirdly enough I don’t eat seafood.I have , but not anymore..

Quick update smoke report .
After a cure for a month in jars, this is getting stronger in taste and effect.
Has a really strong taste of licorice with that oily floral hit as well.
Very good morning smoke, hits quick and keeps getting stronger after 30mins .
Getting more narcotic in effect, but still very uplifting . Can get quite racy though for some people.
Reminds me of some old stuff from South Africa we got back in the mid 80s. Same strong liquorice taste with a quick but long lasting sativa high.
The Congo x A5 haze is a must grow for lovers of high quality cannabis.

Definitely getting stronger, just toking on a cone shaped Raw joint. Had a 1/3 ,and had to put it down.Hits quick and hard like NL, but is a extremely up and happy high with long lasting effects like a good sativa does.

I was actually thinking this wouldn’t be as strong as the A5 x Zamaldelica. After a slow start, light issues and some spidermites. Didn’t have much smell, trichomes were extremely small.
Goes to show , don’t judge a book by its cover.

Yeah I would encourage all the Ace gang to try this great hybrid.
Great flavour notes now , terps are really coming into their own.
Powerful clean high .
Great party or daytime smoke.

I will also say , I’ve been smoking this and the Zamaldelica untrimmed except the larger leaves. Amazing taste still ,
