a wicked pulse

i would have thought that the best she could have done was a high mileage trade-in that needed some suspension and grill work.

High mileage that needed some suspension and grill work was exactly how she described you...

Weird.

have you ever seen very small clear soil mites? walkin around the container rims? although the ´profile´ particles are producing better results with handwatering, and maybe I just noticed them, but since the surface stays wet longer some slight algae has developed. I would be worried but the ones with the most potwalkers appear the heathiest. at least theyre not RA

Doesnt chopping that many leaves ruin your harvest index or someshit? I guess plant #s limit your options. well until your done building, im focused on how plants were domesticated and that traits could be ´selected´ unknowingly. think youve mentioned this a bit before, but whats the plant ideotype for your setup and would it change if plant numbers werent involved (no pruning?). autoflowering seems like it has potential, and increased seed size  might have some hidden uses. its hard to imagine what could be and should be

no, i've never had the pleasure of meeting clear soil mites.

when you say "profile" are you referring to the mvp product or the finer stuff?

i hope no one draws any conclusions from this grow except that the ppk grows a shitpile of weed. i have done so many things here that it is impossible to sort out what did what.

i started the seeds too early based on my overly optimistic view of when i could finish the build. then stalled repeatedly until transplant. then whacked up real bad to get some kind of decent yield out of them.

this next grow should be a good potential yield indicator.

my clones are right on time and i'm not going to top this time.

Might be a predator mite. I don't remember their scientific name. But that's what I've seen.

Are they super fast?

The predators I saw moved like mini cheetahs.

Except they had more legs.

And no spots.

But other than that, they were just like cheetahs.

seen em on a late night tv/ad as dust mites but they can eat many things it appears. Just wondered since you get algae with those cloners, but youd probably never notice them anyhow..youve got a serious weed problem to solve - good luck

the finer shit works well with no wick/auto feed, put seeds in 20oz foam cups and now theyre flowering in 44oz. just poke a few holes in the bottom and a bit of wick material to prevent particle leakage. add water when surface is dry. The real test is whether the particles will seperate from a mass of roots with a quick bucket bath

Very nice D9!!!! Have you dropped your nutrient levels towards end of cycle?

Which ladies are first? Any of them sticking out in the variety pack you got going there?

Very nice D9!!!! Have you dropped your nutrient levels towards end of cycle?

thanks! this being my first unit grow in a long time i was able to play some games with the nutes.

co2 requires a stronger input than "naturally aspirated" so i used approx 1000 ppm input during veg and stretch, 600 ppm during most of flower, and for ten days now they have had nothing but ph'ed water.

i changed out the solution at the end of veg and again at the end of stretch (4 weeks).

with this input the typical operating level in the reservoir during veg and stretch was around 1250-1450 ppm drifting back and forth a little.

and in flower it would climb to about 1200 ppm and sit there. by inputting water only for 10 days the level today is approx 700 ppm and falling.

the solution ppm was pulled down strongly until the end of the second week of stretch, where it changed character and began rising, probably reflecting a change in mostly nitrogen consumption.

it would be interesting to see an analysis of the solution before and after this event.

the only nutrients used were the jack's 5-12-26 pro hydro special and calcium nitrate. gh ph down was used as needed with my 110 ppm tap water. 50 ml per 42 gals.

the bubba og's look first, with the good dog close behind, and then the dope, sour 13, and last the chemdawg g13.

but i know the whole group is slow to finish because of mass butchery. we are at 9 weeks 6 days right now. i have grown out the dope and the sour 13 before and they did not take this long.

all of the chem 13's are showing a tendency to foxtail but not too bad.

i have been meaning to ask you about how you deal with co2 at the end of flower? i have had the set point at 650 ppm most of the grow and have just dropped it to 450 ppm.

i have been dialing down temps and humidity for the last week, a little at a time.
