A Warning to All Cat Owners.

NEVER EVER EVER LEAVE YOUR GROW CABINET OPEN AND UNATTENDED!

At least the FIM job came out OK.

Once a healthy fan leaf.

Looks like Dracula hit this one.

rofl, yup cats LOVE mj plants, espically little ones :)

I used to let my cat go in my grow room and eat the bigger plants, but when i first started to grow he ate at least 12 of my plants

and he would sneak in my grow area at night and start munching on them, when i awoke he knew he was in troble and heard me get up and ran as fast and he could out of there and knocked over my plants and destroyed a few from jumping out

after i got busted and my cat wasnt eating my plants no more, my cat was throwing up his food all the time, hair balls like mad..... the mj leaves helps cats with there digestive track i think, at least it did with my cat

hes on hairball control even though he gets brushed everyday
never ghad to do that before when he came in and ate leaves of my plant

i wouldl et him eat the lower ones because they would get chopped soon anyways, i cut off lower branching when i was growing

he would sit by my grow room and meow when he wanted in, after we moved to a new house and had out grow in a locked door

but i hear ya man, cats loveit, be gentle dont get mad at him just be carefull and remember cats are pot heads too :)

A number of plants (and trees) are attractive to cats, because of substances they contain or pheromones. Catnip is the most known (although not all cats find catnip interesting), but also Valerian, Cranberry bush, Cat thyme and Silver Wine... and Cannabis. If your cat is too interested in your growroom, try distracting it with any of these plants. Luckily, my biggest and most destructive cat (he who can rip down and shred a curtain in less than five minutes) is more interested in old, smelly shoes. I keep some next to the vegroom.

haha.. yeah.. my girlfriends cat ate off 8 romulan plants.. but they are ok.. just the lower growth (mostly trimmed off now) was all rusty edged with holes bitten through it.... the cat has since been "taken care of" ;)

oh yeah.. haha and at my buddies house his cat used a 5 gallon mama plant as a litter box and then went to a 3 gal i think and pissed in it.. perfect timing, we were just about to up the nitrogen levels but she was right on time :).. yeah.. she has been taken care of too........

Lmfao, had to bump this.

I damn near shitted myself last week when I was working on the plants and my cat snuck in to start chomping on the fan leaves. I'm just glad he didn't get ahold of any bud, the dude is wired enough as it is.

I used to let my cat into the grow room, not anymore now...finding cathairs between your buds is no fun :pointlaug

My cat doesn't like to eat plants... worse she wants to "love" on the budding plants... You know like rub her head all over them... she's ruined a couple of colas that way.. I think it is because she because she loves smoking and can smell the same smells so she thinks if she rubs on the plants she'll feel good. If I shut her out of a room when I'm smoking she sticks her paw underneath, curls it up to a fist and shake the the door till you open up and blow her a taste. Then she'll fall asleep sitting up rocking back and forth... krazy kats

Dood my cat ate a bunch of really special plants when they were way young... grrr a handfull of sour bubble BX3 x sour diesel IBL down the cat-drain.... they didnt even have any trichomes on them yet so he didnt get to trip balls.. what a waste

i have found this stuff called apple bitter that my cat hates the smell of (most animals are supposed to) and HATE the taste of even more, so i fed him a leaf with a bit of it on the end and POOF
cat hates weed now {although he still smells me and follows me till i have a session when i have a sack on me}
kooky kritters they be...

Lol... at least you can pick em out or make hash....

my dog on the other hand loves to chew on stems... doesn't matter if there are roots and buds attached or not... Lost many a plant when I first started growin thanks to that little bastard. Due to animals there are now 4 levels of security to get to my grow. Luckily they haven't figured out how to trick the retinal scanner.

My friend and his wife had two cats that luckily never got to his grows but would sit around while we smoked to get a little buzz. Then they would make their "rounds". Each one would hop up onto your lap for 10 minutes or so to be petted then move on to the person to your left for 10 minutes. Both the male and female (brother and sister) would do this and we found it pretty funny that they'd stay with each person for the same amount of time and always follow the rotation of our blunt/pipe/bong etc, they'd even fight to see which one would be petted first by the person who lit the smoking device first. Sadly they had to be adopted off to a good home.
