Hey, everyone, looking good!

Beautiful looking Malawi :tiphat:. By the look of the hairs, looks like she could go another 2 weeks. Still a decent amount of white hairs on top which lets you know she is still swallowing up with weight. I noticed none of the hairs are curling in which also indicates she is still adding yield. Best of luck and the smoke is potent without question.

Thank you for the advice!:) I was thinking two more weeks and just clean water from now on (I'm in organic soil so i don't actually flush, just stop feeding). Didn't know that the curling of hairs was a sign to look out for.

Those look delicious and since it seems like you want someone else to chime in with some pics here's a very young Malawi and newborn Malawi x SSH of mine

Yey, that looks promising:laughing:. Just to see what the future holds, check this side by side out. There are nine days of 11/13 between the two pics.

So much for the Sativa flowering stretch!
All clones. The one in the front on the right is a Malawi, the rest different ACE Haze crosses.

Some girls can change quite dramatically in the final few weeks so if you really want to know the best harvest window for your tastes you're gonna need to experiment by harvesting a few buds every week and logging your findings especially as they age with a cure. Once you end up with a favourite sample you can grow it like clockwork knowing that it will be everything you expect it to be on the date you've chosen to take her down but until then you're really just guessing.

I like to think of them as any other flower. As they mature they get stronger aromas, colors and flavors, but only up to a point. Go past that point and they start going downhill. I just watch them closely and chop them when they're done. Gotta be patient.

Sampling along the way, as seeded mentioned, is always a great way to learn. It's like a sneak peek of what's to come so it makes those longer flowering times a bit more tolerable.

Yes I agree old toker. I think I read that somewhere. Ill wait a week and check it. Samuel good point i do sample. I did with it and it was better than the white thunder Im smoking now. a little trippy. I am harden and it takes a high thc to consistently get me high. I grew some purple bud from white label that really didnt get me high. my ideal strain would be high thc and medium to high cbd. (high anxiety) any suggestions? thanks for the input.

Indeed it would be nice if they fixed that. All photo's from my phone do that crap.
Really makes the web people in charge of this forum look kinda dumb IMO

I have seen many posts complaining of this crap.

Really makes loyal users of this awesome place look like dumbasses which is far from the truth

Thanks for your feedback smac17,

As i commented previously, our main goals with Malawi breeding was to keep it's high vigor, huge yield and mainly to keep its outstanding resin production and overpowering and long lasting effect. To improve its woody/oily terpene profile was secondary in our early breeding with this strain although its terpene profile has been improved a lot too since we breed its P3 generation in 2014.

Malawi needs proper maturation and a good curing to show its best qualities, i highly doubt you can find a stronger strain with longer lasting effect if you finish properly Malawi.

I could'nt say it better, you expressed perfectly what i'm experiancing with malawi...wasn't impressed at all at the beginning, but now that my first phenos are 4 month cured it's a totally different thing.
I think that for few phenos (who have really dense nugs for pure sativas) it's a minimum to wait 100 days...it's not even totally perfect now...
Personally if i had smthg negative to say about this strain it would be about his taste/smell which is very very loud and strong (very difficult to describe, maybe incense?...)
But dont get me wrong guys, it's a great strain ;)

Beautiful PandyFackler

It's nice to see more purple Malawi phenos being grown and posted here as reference.

The carrot pheno it's an interesting one as well, the carrot and citric (mandarine) aromas are the best terpene profile you can find in our green Malawis.

I'm glad you had the chance to experience nice different phenos from this line :)

Hi Kush_Kloud,

The Old Malawi Killer is still the strongest cannabis plant we have had the pleasure to experience, she is already 20 years old and we haven't find anything stronger yet since then, even the strongest more modern hybrids seem to be weak in potency compared with OMK (maybe only the strongest Golden Tigers and Zamaldelicas are close to its potency). Its aroma and taste are not very refined, mainly woody and oily. The high lasts 4 to 8 hours or more .... depending on the tolerance of the user. It's hard to explain in detail the OMK effect due its complexity and due the different stages during the trip, it's an overpowering (both mentally and physically), psychedelic, thought provoking, uplifting then very sedative, super long lasting .... I guess you need to try her by your own ;) Yes, i have tried many psychedelics, and the closer to Malawi effect would be San Pedro cactus.

New Malawi Killer (P3) is very similar to OMK in potency and duration of the effect, size of the trichomes and overall appearance, although NMK is more tamed in size, has better indoor adaptability and the resin production is even higher, the terpene profile is still oily and resinous, but more refined, not so woody like OMK.
My close circle still believes that OMK is the strongest one. We have grown both side by side many times and only the trained eye would differenciate them.

Both parental plants: Old Malawi Killer and New Malawi Killer, produce a THC content around 25 % when are properly grown and matured.

Hope it helps with your doubts! :tiphat:

Dubi may you give us some detailed smoke reports of the Old Killer Malawi female clone and of the New Malawi Female clone? Smells, taste, onset of high, how long the high last, and how does the highs effect your visual perception, mental perception, and your physical perception? Also if you have tried LSD, Shrooms, DMT, Salvia ect. How does to compare to these hallucinogens? Any mild open or closed eye hallucinations? I would appreciate your comments.

Can't help you with a suggestion for both high THC and CBD.......but I'm fairly certain that the Malawi will take care of your high THC requirement.
