A Taste of Africa from Malawi

Been in flower since 4/20, 3 fem ace Malawi. The broad leaf plant is a trip, I call it the shiny leaf pheno. I took several clones from this plant and they grew outta that. I will be pollinating these 3 plants with RSC Malawi gold Male. I woulda used Aces Malawi male if regular seeds were available but got stuck with a fem pack. Besides with my limited grow space I only use 1 type of pollen at a time. Will be pollinating Somali taxi ride from rare dankness as well this run. Last pic is my 4 female Somali taxi ride (Neville's wreck x Malawi gold)
How rare is this shiny leaf pheno. I just popped 5 feminized ace malawis. Gonna grow them outdoors this summer

No clue, first time ever running these. I think it's just a freak, it was shooting 3 branches every node and those broad shiny fan leafs look cool. The clones off that plant are growing out of those traits here is are pics of that plant and it's clones, still considering running one of these clones outdoors this year

My Strongest growing ace female covered in RSC Malawi gold pollen today. Only male I have on hand I have a couple clones ready to be reversed but I'd like to see what comes of this. There are similarities, the ace version is definitely more indoor friendly. I like em both so far

Update at day 78 in the flowering stage.
Since the plant is nearly dying, plan is to take it down no matter what at the end of week 12 (day 84) to avoid botrytis 😂

Girl is still frosty as hell and I think she will deliver strong effects. Aroma is oily and lemony/sour/fermented.

This shiny broad leafed Malawi is a weirdo, don't wanna go into flower, it's in a small pot and been on 12/12 since 4/20. I have 3 clones of this same plant, might try bigger pot and 11/13. The other 2 female phenos are killing it( last 2 pics)

Malawi buds close-ups !

Aroma is really oily and woodsy, with lemon/sour/fermented notes. It reminds me of an old Power Plant cut that was circulating on the black market in Montreal around 2010, but with added sour tones. A bit of nostalgia.

Ace Malawi on the left RSC Malawi gold on the right. There are similarities in these plants, I think aces plant will be more indoor friendly, I topped em last weekend

Looking at your pictures, there's no doubt in my mind that The Fake Seeds Company is using our Malawi seeds, like many others do... with their contribution calling it GOLD, what a joke! I've encountered the owner of the Fake Seed Co at fairs for the last 20 years, each time pretending to be someone else! A big blonde guy, the last time he came, he told me... "What about Snowhigh ," and I said, I recognize the plants I've worked with, just like I can recognize my daughter from a mile away. And I told him straight, the same goes for FSCO, who don't even grow or breed the lines he sells or pretends to be an expert on it. Disgusting moron and scumbag.

She is done @FeelHaze enjoy :smoke:

I gave the plant her last watering this morning. I'll wait 2-3 days to allow the allow the soil to dry out and harvest after that. I want to give her a last chance to mature the reflowerings she threw on the top buds (I didn't show that part on my last update).

I made a lot of mistakes with her and thats probably why she did not mature uniformly.
