A Swedish Urban Forest Grow (Thyphoon, Swestar + Bagseeds) Latitude 59

Good luck with your grow! Unfortunately, most LR hybrids are too small yield, it is necessary to look for early flowering (or make crosses). The best adaptation - a seed grown in these conditions, so you are going right way.

Benefit, I am well aware of that. They will not make up a big percentage of next years grow.
But who knows what the pollen does.
I was more hunting for the early flowering genes.

Hey bro

Looks like they are picking up speed, I like it!

Are you doing anything about the pests? Spraying with soapwater (?) (såpvatten) has always done the trick for me. Never knew what kinds of bugs I had. I just sprayed and they have always dissapeared.

Later man

Well, I hope they are. I am really hoping for a dry and sunny August and September.

The bugs aren't really a problem (yet), but the calcium deficiency is.
Do you know any stores that sell lime or gypsum?

Hmm.. Not really. I think I bought some lime at a this store (check PM's) 7 years ago but when I went there recently they didn't have the stuff.

Use it anyway, I think they do more bad then good (if any good) since they are chewing on the plan, god knows what that could do to the final product!

Looking goood :)

Huset, if it becomes a problem on the female plants I maybe will have to. But I would rather loose a small quantity of the harvest than smoking pesticides.

I am in bad need of sunny and dry days, these rains keep coming back all the time.

Today Wednesday, the expected sunpower that will come through is 5.7 kWh/m².
But it generally ends with around 4.0 kWh/m². My hopes is that August will be a good month.

Lets see how the whole week will turn out, if the weather service would be accurate.
From tomorrow and onwards.

Thursday 5.6 kWh/m²
Friday 5 kWh/m²
Saturday 6 kWh/m²
Sunday 3.6 kWh/m²
Monday 3.5 kWh/m²
Tuesday 1.3 kWh/m²
Wednesday 4.7 kWh/m²
Thursday 3.9 kWh/m²
Friday 5.9 kWh/m²

What kind of soap/såpa? Green or brown?
And in what quantitys?

And how often does it have to be repeated?

I have only used grumme. One cap per 1.5 liter of water. Make sure you spray the bottom of the leaves as well. Spray alot.

I have sprayed twice this season and that has halted 2 infestations.

Good luck bro!

I also tends to use about the same dosage. 1-2 caps/L. The sort depends what i got home.If it doesnt work, just change brand and the dosage.

Look at the bright side....If it doesnt work, at least you get the cleanest bugg´s and plant´s in the area...LOL

I like those cut can defences I'll have to try that next year as I lost a few plants to slugs this year (UK)

Excellent diary :)

Thanks for all the advices and comments.
5 or 6 days has passed since the last update.

I checked all the plants today, and was actually more pleased than I thought I would be.

My only concern is that the males won't spread enough pollen because my cruel treatment towards them.
Hopefully some broken stems won't stop them from opening their pollen sacks.

Okay, here comes the pictures.
