A survey on the topic of drug consumption and their effect on depression

If your "goal is to find a link" then no doubt you will find one.
Surely this is not a very scientific basis to conduct an experiment? Maybe it should be " our goal is to see if there is a link between types of drug and depression or not"
In my limited experience, drugs seem to be turned to as an aid to depression in already depressed people.
Just my 2$.

I also think some people medicate depression with weed

some people who are prescribed medications quit smoking much easier
Mj, cigarettes and other drugs, alcohol

I think the idea of studying drugs and depression a subject with a lot to be learned about
But there are so many factors in (that can be considered)

Likethe weight of having a drug user/criminal identity (shame/fear)

Some people it dont bother them

Paranoia invovled with the lifestyle

In the end I wondered about adrenaline rush of living under the law
But not about the rush itself but rather the tiring effect of high adrenaline and the repercussions on body/mind.

High cortisol levels

And this is not doing armed robberies but simply smoking/possessing marijuana in places where its illegal

surveys are good for measuring how people take surveys

people are depressed because they are experiencing depressing things
