A Soulful Southeastern Exhibit

The blue moon that got the plain water flush seemed to keep her green color better (not a thorough flush) IMO She also will have a better yeild..fatter buds. The clearexed plant has lost all of her green to reviel a yellow fan, fading into her normal reds and purples...wonderful colors and less budmass. I expect to see a slight taste difference too. From the looks so far I am pleased with clearex as a flushing agent. And barring any unforeseen taste problem I plan on using clearex on all plants from now on. Two big thumbs up :yes:

sorry for the lack of pic updates...I've been pretty sick for the last 2 weeks. I havnt even had a chance to check on my garden in over 10 days. I've got my g/f watering everything right now....so hopefully everything will be alive when I return home.

The blue moonshines, star, and mazar are down and dry...went into the jar 2 days ago. I am confident that I have taught my lady enough to know when buds are ready for the jar...but who knows lol.

I've still got the citral up and running...im guessing it should come down within the week. Hopefully I will be able to snap a couple of shots before she hits the chopping block.

I am a little worried about my next round mostsly. I've got a handfull of stars, one more mazar, and a reeferman's romulan wich are approximately 30 days in...this is the crucial time for them, and I'm not sure they will produce to their potential without my support.

hey bart thanks...i've had to undergo a couple of 'intrusive' procedures :yoinks: and even the stongest herb doesn't touch the pain. Psst. hey boggy, you got any of that lifesave layin around lol jk

The cam I'm using: olypus d540
The Macro Mode allows users to take close up photographs to capture details like dewdrops on a flower petal. Other controls include Digital ESP multi-pattern and spot metering; auto white balance; multiple flash settings and exposure compensation

:kewlpics:  i agree with smokey 100 % those are definately some magazine quality photos sunnyside.droping by after your warm welcome. checking out your bud porn exhibition you got going on over here :yummy: . do you use a tripod sunnyside? where is best learn about using parts of a photo you have taken and using a section of that photo "at actual size" instead of "best fit". i v got a sony sure cam 5.1 with macro so when i chose best fit it takes up bout 4x my 15" moniter screen. :chin: but the close ups i get are lovely if i manage to keep my hands steady :biglaugh: hope you re on the mend ............

hey haarlem...glad you could make it by. Please pull up a chair and stay a while, because this is the spot where I will keep most of the flower pics :) :)

Yes I use a tripod...thats really the only way I can get a stable image...if not 90 out of 100 shots come out blurry lol. I've never used the 'best fit' feature...ever, it would create a pic toooo big. I will usually take and crop the pics down to a managable size, that wont be tooo big to upload on the server. I'd say get yourself a tripod and from there it is downhill. I doesn't take a fancy cam to take the fancy pics.... good luck, and I'll help anyway I can :)

sunnyside does not speak with forked tongue...Tripod is a must, downright essential in low light or slow shutter-speeds..anything that moves, camera or subject, during that moment of time will cause blur..with something tight in, like a trichome on a growing plant, that means no breezes..hell I hold my breath and use the timer or remote to snap the pic...
Good lookin shots all around.. point-of-focus is right where it should be...that's a good reason to use manual focus if your camera doesn't have a very comprehensive auto-focus system(multipoint)...with macro shots you really need concentrate the tightest focus on exactly what part of the subject is most important to be in focus..like the flower instead of the leaves...auto focus might focus on the leaves and blur the bud..
Hope that helps anyone to take better pics...much more to be said but I don't wanna fill sunnyside's thread with text, however this is a good place for this part...look at sunny's pics again and look where the POF is..it will be where the pic is clearest :2cents:
