A PET'S TEN COMMANDMENTS

C

Cookie monster

your doing whats right by your pup and thats what matters most at the end of the day.
Not ashamed to say i bawled like a baby and still do when my last dog a rescue dog had to be put to sleep,

What gives me solice is that we had 8 great years together and he was taken from a life of pain and neglect and into a life where he was cared for and loved no matter what the cost.

Remember the good times and take comfort in the fact he/she had a loving caring owner that put the pup first.

Peace and wishing your pup god speed to a better place, when your time comes guess who will be waiting for with a waggy tail and a face full of slobber.

Remember that they can't do a lot of things for themselves and that they depend on you to make their life a quality life!

A PET'S TEN COMMANDMENTS.........

1. My life is likely to last 10-15 years. Any separation from you is likely to be painful.

2. Give me time to understand what you want of me.

3. Place your trust in me. It is crucial for my well-being.

4. Don't be angry with me for long and don't lock me up as punishment. You have your work, your friends, your entertainment, but I have only you.

5. Talk to me. Even if I don't understand your words, I do understand your voice when speaking to me.

6. Be aware that however you treat me, I will never forget it.

7. Before you hit me, before you strike me, remember that I could hurt you, and yet, I choosenot to bite you.

8. Before you scold me for being lazy or uncooperative, ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I'm not getting the right food, I have been in the sun too long,or
my heart might be getting old or weak.

9. Please take care of me when I grow old. You too, will grow old.

10. On the ultimate difficult journey, go with me please. Never say you can't bear to watch. Don't make me face this alone. Everything is easier for me if you are there, because I love you so.

~Take a moment today to give thanks for your pets. Enjoy and take good care of them.

Life would be a much duller, less joyful experience without our critter brothers and sisters.

Now please pass this on to other pet owners. Hope, love, and joyfulness abounds here on earth and has four legs!
:yeahthatsthat is absolutely inspiring and so bloody true.
Brought a tear to my eye, especially no. 10.
I have been in that situation once when my cat was bitten by a snake and had to be 'putdown' at the local vets.
I had to be there with her, I could not let the vet's face be the last face she saw. At first I was going to leave her body there.
But after seeing the vet ruthless pick her up in the blanket she was in, and seeing her nearly fall out. I said "hell no, give her to me!" and we buried at home.
I don't trust all vets easily either as once we went to get our female cat desexed.
About an hour after dropping her off, we got a call from the vets stating that after we left, the vet went in to check her and apparantly she freaked out before he could weigh her and they had to use a tranq dart to calm her, therefor they 'had to' estimate her weight.
And they ultimately estimated too much and killed her.
I could not believe it.
Has this happened too anyone else?

My dog would like me to propose a one hour rule on puke. She request one hour before owners clean it up, as most dogs would like to eat it again. Seems effective to me.

I am a partner in Vitality Science

I made a 8 x 11 flyer on thick gloss paper with that on the back with a parchment looking background. every time I read them to someone I would get choked up and teary-eyed

On the opposite side was information about our Longevity Program

A cheap insurance policy for any pet owner
