Good morning all.
Central New Yorker, long time grower. Lurking this site (and others) for decades has given me much good information to peruse. I have grown fairly large scale, outdoors and indoors when there was a wave to ride. Now days I grow for myself, friends, family, barter, bribes, therapy and fun. Somehow that still consumes many thousands of watts LOL

I've never interacted on a site, use no social media at all. I actually created an account here a few years ago to try to contact @Chunkypigs before a gene traders event, but never introduced myself.

Lately I have been lurking here so much it feels dirty without stepping out to say hi.

@Lester Beans Dude, I feel like I owe you a beer. Like keeping an eye on your gardening tips (gardener and tomato grower here)

@big315smooth There's a few folks up your way that attend bluegrass jams down on the north shore that I play at. I also know many of the (wooks of the woods) up there. Good folks!

@StarCrash turns out we have crossed paths in a couple of different lifetimes

Well, coffee is gone, buzz is on and the gardens are not going to tend themselves.

@ Lester beans Only doing three varieties of little ones from seed.
Yellow pear, sun gold and purple bumble bee. Large heirlooms of different types from an Amish greenhouse . Guinness, got it

@ Starcrash Lurking your thread made me realize that I knew who you were from the tour/taping days of late70s, early 80s. I Knew a lot of people in that circle back then, Frank, Russel, Doug & Jim et al. Lived in Boston most of the off tour time.

Fast forward, I for better or worse, know several people around your current area. It's dam small world when it comes to long time weed growers and old tour heads. Reach out if you wish. Meanwhile, hope you don't mind me hang around your thread sometimes. Seems like my kind of people

whats up man dude i love bluegrass probably seen those guys jam your talking bout
Ive been amazed at the musicians I have met from that area over the years. Many genres and ages.
I'm glad I took advantage of an invite to the jams.

I still get out to a lot of live music of all types. We get out to a fair amount of venues around NY, northeast PA and Philly.

My wife and I do Delfest and Fresh Grass every year, and some regional bluegrass like "pickin' in the pasture". I'm on my own for jam bands or other festivals.
