It sux when the cold hard reality of life bish slaps you.
The feeling of a heavy heart is one i know too well. But it will pass.
We are all just like leaves in the breeze. We have no control over the path others choose in life, all we can do is learn from them and attempt to adjust our own course.
Take your learned lessons and use them to your advantage now, for tommorow isnt promised to anyone. Its not often we stop to reflect.
I feel for you brother. Sad for your loss on one hand and happy on the other for your new found perspective.

may he rest in peace reap...i feel for ya man...just try to remember all the good times shared and the positive influence he had on you as a person...good friends always do.
i know there are no words that sound right at times like these,but if he was suffering with us then atleast he is at peace an better now brother...im sparking for the memories right now.

Life tends to be shorter than we think, glad you are dealing with this productively with writing this thread. Very hard not to get into something harder to get over stuff like this but then again this might be a wake up call for those around your buddy.

I am sorry for your loss indeed, need to rant or write you know where to do it. Has to be hard for you and especially his family.
