Excuse my ignorance but why is there a suspension fork on the front only? I used to set my ice racing motorcycle up like that. Just curious. I like the gold accents on that piece, noooice.

called a hardtail bike.it's suspension for people who ride up hills instead of just shuttling and blasting back down hill at warp speed

:tumbleweed:mornin campers...another work day, another day of hot sexy forklift action most likely...build a soil order didn't come yesterday so probably today...did load a pallet of coco into a pickup truck yesterday...got a little stuck but managed to get back out...really,unloading is easier generally...at least that's on a hard surface...

hauled a bag of 3.0 home on my back yesterday...oof! i bought 16 bags last week, only got 15 delivered, and i'll need it come the weekend...so much cleaning to do...,so many pots to wash...and i'll need to bin up the 27 plant harvest and send that off...gotta check with my guy and see how much i can move quickly...my frame and handlebars are at the shop, still owe 500 bucks...and i need to order a 300 dollar rear hub today before it's gone! and more wormies!

to refine my answer...the primary function of bike suspension is to keep the tires on the ground,so a front fork keeps the front wheel on the ground and since that's what you steer with,(and like 60% of your braking power) a pretty nice thing to have...plus of course they smooth out the ride...
i would get a full squish bike, but then i would likely end up badly injured...or not,the one i had before got me out of a lot of trouble...of course i was in that trouble because i was going crazy fast through rough patches...

that was a day...build a soil delivery, had to figure out how to cram 2 1/2 pallets worth of fancy dirt stuff into an already crowded space...5 hours later, and having hand moved like 2 tons of stuff...ok,i mean i did use the pallet jack when i could, but i did hand stack and entire pallet of 3.0,and move a bunch of misc stuff to make space plus sweep the now empty spaces...

:tumbleweed:TGIMF...thank god it's my friday!
looks like it's going to rain today...best find the snap on fenders and rain jacket...also pretty chilly out today...
need to check and see if i need any supplies from the shop,i know i need some big grove bags for the plants i chopped last week...tomorrow will be a cleaning day in the grow, and hopefully getting the harvest binned up for sweat and burp...gonna be three totes worth, and i'll be holding back a few plants to trim myself...

:cool:made it to the weekend again!
i was pretty cracked yesterday after warehouse palooza...but that's ok,i got a free partial bag of build a flower and some 3.0...and more craft blend if i need that which i don't really but free is free dammit!
one more room to go...easy since half the room is soil beds so no water for you!

:tumbleweed:mornin campers...brrr,got cold overnight...
usual sunday things, grocery store run, then back home for garden chores, mostly clean up and pot washing, possibly some soil amending, maybe a trip to home despot to get pvc couplers...and make a bloom tea later...
and do my taxes finally, should get a good bit back...which can go to fancy bike parts!
because my matchy matchy ocd is kicking in i was looking at turquoise headsets and bottom brackets to go with the hubs, grips, and pedals...plus of course the parts would be top quality MUSA stuff...and considering a dropper seatpost...
time to get moving, lots to deal with today

:cool:my bikes aren't really custom,simply well curated...but yeah,they are wicked sweet!

alrighty, stage one of clean up done, everything is bagged up and sorted...time to head to lowe's and the grocery store...lowe's is an easier ride...bike path instead of a 35mph road albeit with a marked bike lane...scant comfort with cars whizzing by...

:tumbleweed: back from shopping...just had lunch and watched highlights of the tour of flanders...time to wash pots i guess...
lowe's was the wrong choice,i just needed 1" to 3/4" pvc adapters, all they had was a threaded version...but i got the parts i needed so all good i guess...

done with the pots, found 18 saucers to wash...and discovered it's time to bin up the last harvest...so i'll need to clean the tent up after that...
