The entire canna Internet scene ( it’s almost unrecognizable compared to what it was like 20 years ago ) in my humble opinion ...Maybe it’s just me not aging very well
No it's not you, I remember when Overgrow was all the rage. People were very helpful, and for the most part kind. You always had an asshole or two, but that's life. Today we are overflowing with assholes. But if you pay attention it's the older people on here that are civilized to one another. This guy pestering fish is probably young.

It's inevitable that if people create something great to share with others that eventually people with nothing great to share with other will show up because they notice something great and will share what they bring even if it is not great.

This is why music festivals are usually the best during the first few years before all the idiots and undercovers show up.

My first exposure I think was 1995 and the website was cannabis.com
Steps into the Wayback Machine...

Cannabis.com's domain name was first registered in 1997. Vic High's BCGA site was the first active, web-based cannabis forum. Before that the most active forum was a NNTP internet news group (Usenet) alt.drugs.pot.cultivation, which I started using around 1994. It's where the original OG got most its initial info/audience, because OT1 was a frequent participant on adpc.

@Old Uncle Ben and Potroast (former admin of RIU) are the only two others I've ever bumped into on any internet forum that were active with me that far back in the day.
