mornin campers...almost done with the cold...have to see how the ride to work goes,yesterday i was hacking up lung oysters on the way,and then blowing out day glo yellow snot for a couple hours...should be good to go by the time my next round of days off comes...of course i have a bunch of catching up in the garden to do...

mornin campers...sorta kinda busy at the shop yesterday...really it was just our best customer came in and got the usual 2200 bucks worth of supplies...i wish all the commercial people were that consistent...every 3 weeks...makes it easy for everyone,we know what needs to be ordered,and he can be certain we'll have everything...anyway,two more days of work then another long weekend,still not 100% over this stupid cold...at least it's nice and warm during the day,like 67 yesterday

Just finished shoveling the first couple inches of snow for me this year. Had to get it because that cold is heading here and will freeze it up.
Dang we have had several feet of snow already. Most of it has already melted off.

Dang that sucks that it melted we all miss seeing pictures of you out there shoveling...
mornin campers...one more day at work then off for 4 days...too bad i have a bunch of stuff to do during that time to catch up after being sick last week...and still have the lingering,snotty parts of the cold hanging on...tomorrow i'll need to run errands and do some garden work and probably haul medium on monday...another harvest to deal with...and dirty pots to wash...
It because of Lake Michigan keeps the air warm. So we get a bunch of snow when it gets real cold but when it gets a little warmer it melts off because the lake heats up the air. It keeps the area more even temp wise.
I have to go shovel here shortly. We got about 4-6 inch in the last day.
Plus the super low temps people posted are colder than I am suppose to have. High today in the low 20's but high 20's tomorrow. Then moving into the 40"s midweek. Mid 30's early in the week
I feel so inferior. New Mexico is bigger than Michigan. Well at least we are bigger than New York.
Caught a sunrise this morning don't remember the temp first thing but it was only up to 28 when I left quahogging at noon time.. with a nice wind chill from the 15-20 knot northwest wind.. had to keep in buckets of water today to prevent freezing. Why I torture myself idk oh yeah fucking money that why gotta eat... The cash don't come as easy as it did back in the day...
That sounds nasty. I am having corn garlic mash potatoes and ham for dinner.
