:tumbleweed:mornin campers...lots of idiots out last night firing guns into the air...presumably...but still idiotic...cars and guns, two things that many people who have them really shouldn't...

anyway....no rest for the wicked, garden chores to deal with today, going to up-pot at least one plant so i can put the stoney's kush in with the same group of plants as the 92og.....pretty sure the sk is some form of og,regardless,it will be a good addition to what will be a great head stash run...harvesting the led room on wednesday, gonna be a lot of trimming to do...gave the buds a little squeeze the other day, everything is nice and dense...

first an errand run today...

Building any new bikes this year? I need to start buying parts for the big dummy. As I'm looking at parts I have already caught myself planning the next bike, or so.
probably not...but you never know!
right now i'm thinking a custom framebag for my el continente, another set of titanium handlebars like the ones on the el con for my otso fenrir...and maybe a fox suspension fork for the fenrir as well, and some kogel ceramic bearing pulleys in gold for my la roca, and maybe a new set of wheels in 27.5 x 3....and i just saw a rock shox bluto fatbike fork on craigslist for 250 so i may snag that...
and i have been looking for a 90's mtb frame to build a basket commuter bike....

all that said,Mone bikes has a new klunker frame that looks pretty sweet...

so probably!:D

:tumbleweed:mornin campers....off to go riding in a bit,and a stop at the used book store and maybe the grow shop...gonna need clonex and rapid rooters soon...and more plant tags...always something with the garden...tomorrow i get to wrestle 18 plants out of two layers of trellis net which will no doubt remind me why i prefer stakes...

:tumbleweed::smokeit:harvest mornin campers...led room getting chopped today, looks to be a solid yield, won't know until it's all trimmed and dried of course, but i'm hopeful i get to buy some bike parts soon!
forecast has some small chance of snow tomorrow which means by the sacred rules of bike i'll have to get the fat bike out and go ride and pretend riding in the snow is actually fun!

Got in a good only slightly muddy ride this morning. Stopped and paid off my balance on the big dummy frame. Probably start ordering parts in a couple weeks, after another round of paying for responsible things.
as someone with lots of experience building up bikes...don't cheap out just to get it built,it cost less in the long run to do it right the first time...if it has bearings in it it's better to spend the extra cash and not have to replace stuff that wears out...like bottom brackets, splash the cash for a chris king, they last forever and the maintenance is fairly easy, and even if they need a rebuild it still cost less for parts than a cheap bottom bracket...

That's what I planned on. Not only do I want it to ride like a dream. I want it nice enough to hopefully have a decent resale value. Should I ever want to get rid of it.

my buddy has a big fat dummy he's been using to haul his kids to school...he's been looking at getting an e-bike motor for it since the girls keep on growing...i looked at them but for me a trailer is more practical...easier to store at the very least...i would like to get a trailer with two wheels at some point, the BOB trailer has done good for me,but it's not so easy to haul bales of medium on one wheel...

The whole point of getting the big dummy is to be able to take the 7 year old and her bike on long rides and have room for them when she gets pooped out and I'm not ready to go home. Also not ruling out the possibility of some psychedelic lights and a portable PA system for those late Albert Hoffman inspired voyages.
