pretty tuckered out, good little ride, pretty typical for around here, some pretty rocky stretches, parts pretty sketchy, but overall nice roads...ran right over a fat ass rattlesnake on the way out, didn't see it until i was right on top of it,thought i was gonna get bit...it lived and slinked off into the bushes

Bike shop ordered me a surly big dummy frameset. Its going to be my first built from scratch bike. I need something so I can haul the little one and her bike back from a ride. She does good but still wears out. Yesterday we took her on her first off road ride since she figured out peddles. Trail was 4 miles long.. I told her to turn around at about a mile in. She refused and was still doing good enough we decided to tackle the whole trail. By the end of the ride I was having to get off my bike and give her a push start. Her poor little legs ran out of juice. I think without all the leaves (crunchy momentum killers, incase you wondered) she would have done much better. This morning I asked if she wanted to ride after school and she is.

Also. Where do you recommend ordering drivetrain parts at a great price? I've been looking and I think I'm going for slx and xt parts. The big dummy still uses the older 135 mm. So 10 speed components are quite a bit cheaper than the newer udh ones.

:tumbleweed:mornin campers...ugh,did not want to wake up today...the prospect of spending the day trimming is not appealing at all...for that matter getting on a bike...i've come to the conclusion once again that jobs kinda suck...plus i have a small harvest to deal with tonight...

✂️ today was an especially annoying day of trimming...cleaning up the last bits of a couple of totes so lots of smols...but then some chonky buds for the last part of the day...had to leave early...daylight savings...didn't know what time the gmo tent lights off is...needed to feed so good to be home early enough...turns out i had plenty of time

:tumbleweed: mornin campers...another exciting day of trimming today...bleh...almost over the hump though, not on the trimming, but getting the home garden back up to snuff...just one more small harvest and then the next rounds are looking on point...
gonna need to haul medium this weekend again, but at least i have a bunch of proper sized plants to get into the main room...and enough to get a tent going if it ever decides to not be in the 80's...

I'd do a bugman trim on that 1. Nice job

HaHa

Last week I pulled out a jar of Original Glue to snap some shots to share here on ICMag.
2020 was the first year, after 5 years now growing her, that I had achieved bringing the
chocolate flavor forward. I was so tickled that I thought I'd share.

I gave up manicuring buds about 3 years ago so... the pix just weren't complementary
to the buddage. Sure, I could have just flicked those pesky little bud leaves off but...
instead I smoked the bud and scrapped the idea of posting them lol.

I began 'hippy trimming' as herb here is for personal consumption so looks isn't an issue.
Manicuring is so flipping frustrating and time consuming (yes, I too deplore trimming)... ugh.
So... I do the @bugman52 style trim job nowadays. :D

Downside is... buds aren't as perty and there isn't any usable trim to use for edibles.
Meh, the trade of is WELL worth it IMPE.

:tumbleweed:mornin campers...taking a day off from the trim job to deal with my garden, got a stack of pots that need to be emptied, and plants to up-pot to get into flower, and a tray to clean, and sweeping and mopping to deal with in the main flower room...plus my own trimming...not a lot fortunately...

yeah,i'm pretty slow compared to the two ladies i work with, but that said i do a very nice job on the buds and at the end of the day there's way less kif in my trim bin and i achieve a much better separation of trash and good quality trim...and most important,i show up day after day and put in a full 8 hours...

it doesn't hurt that i'm getting cuts there as well...

I think I could read this several ways. I'm not sure you are whining or wanting to play hooky to go for a nice long bike ride to feel the air blowing across your... um, face.
