Just peeled myself off the couch to cook a couple burgers. Noticed some really small white springtails bouncing around in a solo cup I have in a sunny window which has reused coco in it which probably means there downstairs to not real sure how I feel about that yet could be worse things I guess..

Handy for an impromptu jousting match on the way home..

Have you bloomed those before?
I'm looking to find CBD and cbg strain that's easy to find a low to no THC pheno. But it's for smoking so it needs to taste good. So far most of the "hemp" flowers I've grown or sampled taste like harsh hay.
Any recommendations Big?

no it my first time growing these CW x LC but should meat the low almost no thc.
the clone of cannatonic had a nice mild terp profile , also i grew some hemp seeds of super rich that had a a fruitery hay profile [ i was told to look for a grape pheno in those ] most do taste like hay but there are some with nice terps.
if i find another nice tasting hemp plant again ill be glade to pass the cut or if i have seeds them

At first I was frustrated that amazon quit shipping rapid rooters to my zip code, but in hindsight worked out great. These are cheaper and strike rates are spot on ever since switching.
Going to be a lovely weekend here. not sure what’s in store yet. Pollen is THICK right now, thick to where you see it drifting in the air

Which kind did you get?. Getting cuts rooted is my biggest headache. My cloner works perfectly then stops, so I switch to plugs which also works perfectly then that stops. I can't figure out WTF is going on.. Very frustrating.. My cloner was working, I keep that thing spotless. I change the solution every 7 days or sooner. I've been switching back and forth from cloner to plugs when 1 starts failing. It's a headache for sure. I'm getting ready to try plugs again.

I have similar unexplained issues. I have now resorted to a cloning in a glass of water. Takes ages but works as long as I change water frequently. The weirdest thing is that the best result I had was when the container got knocked over in the wind and I didn't realise until I found the clones lying on the floor, completely wilted. I put them back in water and the perked up in a few hours and rooted a few days later.
Cloning should be science but seems more like witchcraft.:witch2:

Have you tried to add an intermitent short cycle timer to the aerocloner? 3min on 3-5min off. I run 24 hours to start or some will wilt after that they get on the timer. This keeps the res temps low as the constant running pump will warm the water and they don't like that. I never have issues now with the aero.

Clean up is just a 1/2 tsp of bleach and run the unit for 24 hours and then scrub them and dry them out. cut and dip in clonex. RO water, add calmag 150-180ppm @700 scale and then add maxibloom bringing total up to 400-450ppm ph to 5.8-6.0 and leave it until they finish. Roots always 7-12 days and finished. I dont change the res or adjust ph its not necessary if you follow this and use a timer. Your res temp is too high. I run mostly pure hydro setups and its fool proof. Rooters take too much care for me. Why mess with them daily when you can set it and forget it? Its your rez temps, nutes or cleaning. Works best under a simple floro shop light but even a 250w qb will work fine too. Always 100%.

If you keep using that v and b dirty you are using way too much N especially in hydroponics. Rooting requires higher concentrations of phosphorous in the npk ratio and very little N. It is also not going to work for a proper pure haze.

The only other variable to consider is running 24/0 lighting as with 18/6 I did have longer root time but still never loose cuts. Even tiny 2 inch cuts to blooming haze taken 5 weeks in all root same time.

Before I added the timer I did have issues that I couldnt figure out. Sometimes things would work out but others nothing would root. I lost several strains this way and know how frustrating it can be.

:tumbleweed: mornin campers...well,no trimming to deal with, all the dirty pots are washed....i guess i'm stuck with hauling medium home so i have something to bitch about:biggrin: just have a couple of plants to up-pot so i can get away with just one bale of medium for now...tomorrow a laundry run and picking up a new mop,one last watering for the chem d x runtz then choppy chop time...so i need to remember to shut the light off in the 2x4 tent so i can bring those plants into the same lights on time as the plants in the 4x4 tent so i can move all of them into the led room...

glad to get the chem d x runtz done, the clones of the seed plants have been stuck in #1 pots for two months now...it will be good to sort them out and get the winners up-potted...

Yes, I use 10m on, 5m off. I don't use V&B dirty in my cloner, that would clog the mist heads. I use Clonex solution, 450ppm ph-6. V&B dirty is not used for hydro. It's made for soil growers. I don't use V&B in veg. Im still using the same PBP grow for veg. V&B dirty is only used for flower. It works great for me. Its not part of the problem. My cloner rarely gets above 70F.. I use my Mini fridge to keep the solution at any temp I wish. There's 25' of tubing inside the fridge. It works perfectly keeping the temps where I set them. I use a 4 bulb t5 24" light on 24/7.

I do everything right. It's why I'm so frustrated with it. Ive had this discussion with many. It seems I'm not alone with this issue. Most are using plugs.
