I see a few of those around here and there, most of the time it's the same person I've seen the last 2-3 years. Often they sound just like the putt putt cars that are run before and after the train.

90% of the ones i see look like the person riding them lost their drivers license for dui

I see a lot of electric motors on mountain bikes where I hike. It's kind of strange to see someone cruising past on a bike with little effort on very steep hills, then you notice the electric motor on the frame. I'm still riding but don't think I'm fit enough for very steep hills yet.

It's seedling transplanting day. I should have transplanted them yesterday, but didn't. I had a migraine that knocked me out. I'll get around to uploading the pictures later, and of the veggies.

there's only one way to get better at climbing...climbing...it's not easy,or any fun at all, except for screaming back down the hill you just climbed, but even that takes getting used to...i use a ride tracking app on the phone, they have a monthly climbing challenge to hit a certain number of meters, usually 7500m except during the northern summer when they ramp up...anyway,it takes a lot of discipline,it's painful, you have to constantly fight against wanting to give up,and even once you get in climbing shape it's still painful

Yes, I incorporate a couple of hills in my daily ride and am getting better, but just not to the point of feeling up to the same hills I hike (which are much higher and steeper). I agree if you want to get fit, find a hill and go up. The hills I hike feel like 45 degrees, but probably aren't that bad, still they are pretty steep. Only the fittest mountain bikers seem to be able to get to the top.

hiking trails usually make shitty bike trails...there's one near here i tried to ride over and ended up carrying my bike 90% of the way up...and even worse, the other side of the pass was just as unrideable going downhill...and i still had a 20 mile ride to get home over a different pass in the same mountains, but on pavement for that

Our local council converted what were hiking trails into mountain bike trails which are supposed to be shared. They now are quite impressive for bikes as the trails often zigzag up hill with banked corners e.t.c, however some of the old walking trails still exist and are now also used by mountain bikes as well. It's a big scene. I used to share this place with one or two people, now on a weekend there are often 50 cars parked, nearly all for bikes.

sort of the same thing here, there's loads more people out on the main trail network...and all the problems that causes...people building illegal trails and jump lines, litter, crowded parking areas....luckily there's a gazillion acres of public land all around

We are fortunate with “rails to trails” providing miles of walking and biking trails around here. Also a nice Riverwalk that is 20 miles, paved and has lighting. Lots of folks utilize the riverwalk which I am glad to see as the project wasn’t cheap.

:tumbleweed: mornin campers...someone forgot to reset the bedroom clock to derplight savings...yeah,we have a 20ish mile multi-user trail that loops around town and along the river, and they're paving some sections of the irrigation ditch banks, and adding bike lanes on some streets...be nice if there was a physical separation as well...but that should be coming,we have an all female city council now,and half of them ride...

well hell,i can hear the wind whipping around,i was gonna go for a ride...i still am,just less happy about it...got trimming to deal with today so not a big ride i think...

what's the website or IG page for this Irving show? I've been going to one just about every week up here now, the competition in Rochester was cool last week, another one happening on the 26th. @flwr.city.cup

folks snap up whatever I bring to these shows, everyone, local and out of state, is selling hella dried out flowers at the ones I've visited. swapped for some decent Amnesia haze last weekend and there was one dude who had some apple fritter and Dolato that was nice $50 1/8ths. bring something fresh with a nose and clean up here, someone, anyone??? tmany imports for sale, found Mac1 and White truffle that's dusty dry with barely any nose but still has some taste left. this part of NY mostly gets the dregs of west coast weed, packs full of buds smaller than a pea. upstate is where smalls go to die. I walk around these shows with a jar of OG and one of haze and can't find a soul who has ever smelled either before except the guys from cali selling the boof pack. old farts like me recognize something when they taste the haze tho. have to enjoy these events while they last because none of this is allowed once regulation hits. stick your nose in a jar before buying while you still can, even if the weed inside all smells the same...

the grey market dispensaries are off the hook here, police clean them out one day and they are balling the next, I drive by one that is still open past 10 pm with a line inside day and night. a few of them are selling $70 1/8ths but mostly they are priced better than the existing black market.

this dude has 4 sticker stores and balling so hard now, watch the video as they take his cars and weed but no arrests at these raids, we are the most legal state in the Nation for a hot minute.

That sux about that sticker shop in Watkins Glen and that's not the only towns they are raiding...I know Ithaca got hit as well and they had a few shops there...at least with these symposiums in Irving, NY it on Indian Rez land so the feds can't legally touch a sovereign nation...last month at the one I was at pounds were going for 1800 buxs...the smells and the looks of the bags were legit (a couple of the vendors when you first came in the door had the non smell and pea sized buds you describe)...but inside further and upstairs is where the action was...alot of the vendors had their own weed and massive sized nugs in their huge bags sitting on the tables with a lot of small sized display cubes that were magnified and lit up showcasing their products... and the smells were definitely wafting through the air...right now all i have is the address...my brother-in-law is checking shit out amongst his people and will get back to me with website or instagram info

It's at the old Keys store and there is not a lot of parking...I'm sure people will be up and down the street!!!
