I sprayed the pot holes and soil surface with neem before and after watering respectively, to contact kill the crawlers and flyers. They come to the surface when I water, so I figured it might help.

I know it's been crazy hot and muggy here too 90F/90% a few times this week. Three window bangers, and two dehus to make it bearable. At least the deer flies love it.
Hey Bud, I did a bit of woodworking to keep my mind off the garden. My dad gave me this scrap block of what I think is maple.
I'm going to recess in a base, and make a sliding lid with the remaining pieces. The pencil marks kind of make it look cracked and shitty in the pic, but she's tight and square just like my woman

I started framing another house yesterday. After doing this I went and repaired a roof that had a chimney removed. Had to add three rafters before I could patch the hole.
You guys make fun of how much I work. But I am 52 and it keeps me in some kind of shape. Kind of like Unc and his bike riding.
I see a lot of the guys my age and quite a few look like they are about to die.
So I am glad I have something to keep me healthier than most my age that I like to do and I get paid well to do.

Im 60 an have the physique of the scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz ,wish i could do that.recently had an electrician do an upgrade to 200amp service at my new property & he whacked me with a 3K +bill for 6 hours work ???

mornin campers...looks like it rained again...and it's getting warmer...so it could get as gross and unpleasant out as where you guys live...but you don't have green chile so neener neener!off to run errands in a bit,going riding with a small group tonight provided it's not too rainy out,or maybe even if it's rainy out...just four people,two girls,so at least the scenery will be nice...if you're going to ride with people who are faster than you it's nice when they have cute butts...and aren't dudes!

Yikes. 3k seems high. But what do I know. My labor on my jobs seems to be half what everyone else charged. And I still make great money.

yeah ...housing values are definitely on the rise ...which is a good because the only time i made any real $ was in real estate ....
