It was a beautiful day here. Rained real hard last night and the air was crystal clear for the first time in weeks. Lots of sunshine and in a sky dotted with puffy white clouds.

Dinner with dad was great. Except, he always has to say, " This might be our last. He will be 92 next month. He has been secretly missing my mom. She has been gone 6 years. We make due.

I hope you all had a perfect day!

I was wondering why my flower room was running hot last few days. It was 90f when I noticed it. I checked everything and found my exhaust scrubber unplugged. Don't even remember unplugging it. This is what happens to Pistils when they get to hot. You can see they all shriveled up on the main top. Hoping I didn't stress this TK to much. Its been awhile since I ran her.

Yeah, that happened to me before. I put another hole in the wall, into the attic for a back up exhaust fan. I have that one on a thermostat, so it only kicks on if the other fan fails. It is only a 4", but it will keep the room below 90. 105 degrees outside may be ok, but 90 inside is not.

Its been down into the 30s here many times recently. I left a few lower buds on the big plants, Sour Dubble, DBMH, OGMango, and Watermelon. I top dressed them real good with Coop Poop, and watered it in, then the rain hit hard. The plants are still going for it. I may just try to let them go year round. Maybe, Ill build a cover over them, or a make shift green house.

Ive been enchanted by the stories I began hearing back in 72 about year rounder plants in Thailand. People on ladders up 10 to 14 feet in the air clipping little Thai buds to wrap on sticks to send to us.
I actually did that this year with the Dr. Grinspoon plants. I chopped those babies down a couple weeks ago. Didn't plan on keeping them. And now I see some little leaves shooting out at ground level. What a bad ass plant. It just aint ready to give up the Ghost.

I've seen that happen quite a few times...
I usually chop between sept. 28 thru oct. 20, depending on the plant..

I've chopped the main stalk 12 inches above ground and hauled it to the dry room...
Gone back out and seen tiny green leaves growing out of the crotch of where I had cut off a low branch back in july...

Of course by middle of Nov, we've had too many frosts and it finally dies....

LOL, it is funny but its fake. Humans will fuk anything lol.

World News Daily Report is a satire web site that has a long list of publishing misinformation. The site, which appears to have a slight fixation on bestiality as evidenced by their previously published stories about humans sexually assaulting animals ..:tiphat:

Was kind of stoned last night and took the dogs for a walk in the rain. Around the block on the way back I was smelling weed smoke. I came up on an open garage with a small social gathering.

I went past, then turned around and went up to the garage and asked if that was bud I smelled. They were a bunch of bad ass Mexicans, from the look of them. Tattoos on necks, one guy bandaged up, with a fresh titanium plate in his hand for fighting.....

So after an uncomfortable silence, the home owner say yeah. I said " you guys want to try some really good weed? They looked at each other and said yeah. I told them Id be right back.

I parked the dogs at home and packed up a few bags of Sour Dubble, OGMango, and Watermelon. It was a little weird for a few minutes, but they loved the weed, amd I smoked theirs as well. They also had BHO they blasted, that I tried , and complimented them on. It was very good. They passed me gelato vape pens, and blunts of cookies, and a beer, and tried to pour me some Cognac, which I declined. I had a good time over there. I may do business. They want good trim to blast.

lol, the exact same thing happened to me a little over a month ago. The tops of my plats were burning and crisping, and of course i finally figured out that the cord from my exhaust fan had come ouy some how.

Luckily it was in pretty cold weather or i could have lost them.

Nike TK by the way. I was friends with krome on ihere and he was going to send me some white and tk cones but at the time i told him to wait until i moved into new home but he stopped posting here and i lost contact.

I'd love to get a cut of both someday. The white just looks so frosty...

BTW is this a good flushing routine: feed plants a lot during flower and keep going until like 6-7 days before harvest, then flushing them with ro water for the lat wateonng and wait about 6-7 days and then harvest/

Thanks!

You have to be careful. I know we all lov to be nice. You shouldn't be doing things like that Especially when they know where you live. That was a risky move IMO.

No need to feed allot. Most of us dont use more than 1.3ec ever. You should stop feeding at least 15 days before harvest and use RO only. I stop feeding on week 7-8 and fade to week 10.

OK thanks. I will just feed ro water from now on. I was feeding them boosters like liquid kool bloom and raising the flora bloom. So the boosters won't increase my yield at this point?

Some are supposed to be harvested in a few days, some a week to 10 day and possibly one or two that need lik 14 days. So i hope .that's enough time to flush. See i'm confused because i had one guy saying he never flushes, just feeds all the way through and that the smell and taste have nothing to do with flushing. Then some people say flush for like 3 days, and some say longer like you lol. It's very confusing and i just want to make sure i get a good yield out of my plants but also no chemical smell or taste.

Nutrients have nothing to do with increasing yield. The magic happens when a plant has everything it needs, when it needs it. No more. No less. Keep the plant happy and she'll perform. I flush heavy with a high PH to lock out any nutrient uptake from the soil.
Then flush again the morning the day before harvest. Yellow them plants out!!!:tiphat:

Boosters can help if you know how to use them. Only a few times during early flower. I don't use boosters. It created more issues than its worth. I would recommend swapping those boosters for Microbes. Don't start feeding large amounts of water. We still use the same amount as we did when feeding nutrients. There's still enough food in your medium to get your plants to harvest. 3 days is not long enough. 2 weeks would be bare min. Yields should not be the most important. You want quality..

Ok, thanks for the info. A lot of people suggest giving heavy doses of boosters in mid and late flowering for yield, but like i said everyone seems to have completely different opinions on how to do things.

By microbes do you mean like Mykos? I used some Xtreme gardening Mykos (Mycorrizae, don't know how to spell it sorry lol) when i transplanted them though that was a while ago. I'm assuming there are similar products that can be mixed with your water/Nutrients? or do they all have to be applied to the soil by hand. What do you use? I'm guessing Great White? ba dumm tss. Ok bad joke, but seriously any recommendations would be great.

I'll just have to let the plants go a little longer then. Honestly, even though it's been exactly 63 days (9 weeks), even the kushes and very indica dominant plants of mine aren't showing any amer triches yet. infact some aren't even full milky yet. So it won't hurt to go another week or so i don't think.

What nutes and soil do you use by the way (and additives/soil amendments). And if it's not too much trouble would you mind sharing your feeding schedule for the whole grow? Reason i'm asking is because i will be starting a whole new grow soon and i'm really thinking about changing nutes and other things and your grows look great, so it would be nice to have a schedule i can use rather than listening to a bunch of different people telling me 'no, do this, no do that, etc.)

Thanks

After reading this I'm in 100% agreement that picking males to breed with by there looks is pretty much useless. Flowering out a male and observing its phenotype tells us little to nothing about the traits they pass on. The only way to see what impact any male has is to use him and flower the progeny and observe inherited traits. The only way to test inherited traits is to use donor pollen on clones of different females. Then grow those progeny to see inherited traits.

One of the males in the mist.....they just got a foliar feeding. Healthy and strong whilst preparing for the gangbang in a few weeks. After this open pollination to preserve seedstock and the first round of smoke samples....selected males and females will be picked/paired.....maybe multiple ways all depending on what becomes of them. This requires some time and effort but think it will be worth it.

This Flashbang is looking killer. Love her structure. She is leaning on the indica side for stretch. She has some nice big leaves. She will need some pruning before flower.
