Gando that sour D looks great!!
who's sour diesel is it? Karma?

Don't know who's sour d it is. I don't know if it's the ecsd or another sd. The person I got it from didn't know what cutting it was, other then knowing it's Sour d.

Has anyone used Botanicare pH Up. I've used Advanced Nutrients Ph up it's been great. I would get more AN I noticed Botanicare is allot cheaper @29$ for a gallon vs 56$.. GH is crap.

What's wrong with GH ph up/down? Not trying to argue, i'm just generally wondering and will switch to another brand if it's not good.

One thing i noticed with the GH up and down was that even like a drop or two of the PH up made my PH skyrocket and get way too high, at least according to the ph test strips that came with the kit. Then i had to use the PH down, but yet it took a lot to bring it down to normal (again according to the strips, if they are actually accurate) which was weird considering how little it took to raise it with the up.

When using PH up/down, should i wait a little bit to get accurate readings or should those readings have been accurate even though i tested the ph right after i used the up/down?

Thanks!

I take a water container of some kind and mix with (PH up and down in their own container, added first) into RO water to dilute it a wee bit. Pouring out like 1.25ml would be easy to get too much.

That was quick ~star~, cool you have a good bike shop to work with. Anxious to see what you do indoors again this year...…

:)

It will be cool to see what you find this winter, starcrash. Searching for the next best one is a mission we all should have a stake in...

Why was your outdoor season excruciating Star? I was meaning to ask you how you did this year?

too much work & not enough good quality return & the weather sucked so i consider it a losing season ...

star, you should still look into a new bike, theres lots of stuff like disc brakes and tubeless tires that are vast improvements over the older stuff...

I do admit i got a rush from looking at all the shiny nice bikes he had hanging all over the place:biggrin: i had cash $ was prepared to spend (he had some great selections in the way under 1000 $ dollar range ) but he fixed up my old cycle sweet and i got out of there for about $220 & for my current purposes this is good

And I'm curious why you're going to only grow from seed. You had some pretty good strains. You running your c99 crosses?

i have a lot of seed, both intentional and unintentional:eek:: from all those clones ...here's a GG99 >

also these are high on my list ... been sitting on them but i think the time is right, i'm not 100% sure , but i may be the only one whom he has allowed to have these thus far ??

Ok thanks, i never thought of that. That's a good idea. I should be getting an RO system soon and it's like the first thing on my list of things to get because my tap water is very hard and it seems to be causing some issues with my plants and it's annoying not knowing exactly what's in it, where as RO has nothing in it so i will know exactly what's going into my plant.

Any suggestions on what brand/model of RO system to get? I don't have a ton to spend, but i also don't want something that is low quality so i will spend more for a good one if it's necessary.

Also, how hard are they to install? Like do i need a plumber or is it something i could manage on my own? I used to build computers for a living and am pretty good with tinkering and building things, but i don't know exactly how hard it is to install an RO system.

I appreciate your help, thanks.

i have a hydrofarm system, the 100 gpd model,i forget what it's called, probably changed the name since i got mine like 4 years ago,a 3 stage filter/ro unit, all plug and play fitting so super easy to install, never leaked a drop either...i also have a hydrofarm tallboy prefilter so i have only changed filters and the ro membrane once since i got it and our water is terrible...

You have to use 10x the amount vs AN. That's why I was asking about Botanicare. They all work to raise or lower PH its how much you need to use to get the desired results. AN I only need drops to adjust my ph. The others im using ml's. Im not found of the Colored dies in them. AN uses no Die color.

A gallon of pH up? Jeez. I worry about my half pint bottle losing stability over time. A gallon would last me a couple of decades

:watchplant: done with another day of garden chores...this an hour or so every other day schedule is a killer!

got 8 clones into cups today...should be another 8 ready in a few days...as in when i feel like dealing with them again...flower is chugging along...a pain to have to move 8 plants to make space to get to everything...but the room is full of mostly new stuff so worth the trouble...
