I have not met an LED that can perform better than a 1k hortilux. Until then sticking with my bulbs. Was not impressed with the de 630 CMH at all. Going to experiment with it more this winter.

Damn you guys beat this Walmart thing to death about 1000 pages ago.

Dansbuds if you are lurking I hope you are feeling better or at least comfortable.

I got the opposite results with CMH. If I hadn't I would never had swapped. GPW was better, Plants health was better, Plants looked happy and my flower room didn't get as hot vs hps. Just the spectrum alone is much better for plants to grow properly. If we don't get the results we want we go with what does.

LED has some issues im still unsure about. I will never be able to satisfy my doubts until I try a good LED light. I don't have 800$ to blow on a test right now. After talking to a few that use LED in a large room they had problems keeping there temps up. They had to add heat back in. Yields did take a hit.




Finally the weather has cooled enough I needed a jacket this AM.

Nice day here too. mid 70s, No whales on the radar, just clean 50 - one gallon pots and transplant, move, into the lab tent under a big t-5.


Im still in testing phase with my two growers house dim able 630s. They seem to do a great job so far, and conserve electricity. They make just enough heat during winter to keep the room in a good growing temperature range

i might be changing my mind about daylight savings...i feel like i slept in this morning but its just barely 10am...


lester beans...they're like dogs with a chew toy,they just keep at it...i guess it was foolish of me to think having perfectly logical reasons for shopping at the store thats closest to my house when i'm doing everything on a bike would make sense,but here we are...

off to the grow store after i do the morning chores...and another trip to wallyworld for bleach so i can scrub pots today...got about 20 up-pots to do so there will be plenty to wash...gonna be like 90lbs of stuff to haul home today...probably should make some sort of list since i have the memory capacity of a concussed goldfish...

at least icky makes it fun,some people here could take a lesson and retire the 7th grade fat jokes...






another nice day for a bike ride...even hauling the medium won't be too bad since it's not hotter than a pile of burning donkey ass outside and there will be a tailwind on the way home...downtown has been a mess lately with all the road work which makes it more difficult to haul a bale of medium since i have to stop constantly and then get the load moving again...as long as i can keep it moving it's not too bad...

alrighty,glad that's over with for a few weeks,those bales just don't get any lighter...until i start using it of course...time to do that after a sammich and a nap...

As long as we're mining old Unc humor memes, I thought i'd bring a couple of them together with a Walmart washer and dryer special

the portable dryer weighs a mere 50 lbs and the washer is only 79. they look like they're about the size of a bale of promix. If they're not a perfect fit for that trailer thingie, a little duct tape and spit and bingo, bango, bongo, you're set for life. or at least for the 30 d warranty.

On a more fulfilling note, Firestax replaced my lost order of DBMH seeds. It was still a mini saga involving delivery address vs po box address but it worked out and they were not stolen by fuckwads from customs!!

fwiw, if ordering from Firestax, the seeds i lost were ordered to be delivered by UPS on the guaranteed delivery date option, which I chose to avoid having to go to the post office to pick them up.

He sent the replacements through USPS, so consider using USPS as your delivery method when ordering. He said it's the way he normally ships and he hasn't had any problems with that approach.

Addendum; My wife, who picked up the package from the post office, sniffed when she handed them to me, "Seems like a lot of money for so little.' So I showed her the current bid for a single pack of Hammer's DBMH in the "Seeds for Milo" auction. More than I paid for the two packs of DBMH and a gift pack of his (SSH x HP13) x Cbanana that got lost to customs. Good luck VP. Some serious bidding going down there

UPS is the worst package handling service on the planet. Use any other is my advice.
