picked up some goodies from the shop,not everything came in but i bought home the 2 tires and the set of handlebars,the crankset was down there but i need to have that installed anyway,need a headset press to install the bottom bracket and the press cost like 400 dollars...not a tool i anticipate buying...handlebars are cool,look like they could go from comfy cruiser to rad speedster just by flipping them over...

i was really hoping my hubs came in...wait until you see the wheels once they are built up...not gonna tell you the color until i get them built but they will be eye popping no doubt

Well, got the press built last night

Squished some of the 25/160u bubble i had lying around....had the temps a little too hot for this one. I think this was around 230 degrees whereas i usually press bubble at 180-200 degrees

Lookin forward to start squishin nugs like this from last run....still testing with older material currently.

Got college bball on tonight so ill probably do some more pressing while thats on....need to dial things in better

if you get the actual pouches that should help with blowouts. with the paper filters its a fine line to walk....i like to smash my bubble down into a small square then wrap it with a paper filter, leaving a little room for expansion. thats what i did before i got pouches and it worked pretty decent.

when i made bubble yesterday i used the press to squeeze the water out so its still in thin pieces,can i just press those chunks?

got a couple of good squishes in thanks to the packet advice,had a really nice one using a tea bag with a filter paper wrap...think the bubble may be a bit wet still since it came out like sap...letting it sit a bit and collect on the gathering pad...

try pressing bubble at a lower temp too....like 190 or 200! I did a few squishes last night and collected about 15.4gs of rosin. If you wrap the packet directly snug to the pieces itll blow out almost everytime....need a little wiggle room.

Id say let the bubble dry even if youpressed the water out....i bet theres still a little moisture in there.

I updated the Mist cloners power supply from 1.2a to 5a. Now if in the future I want to add another system up to 3 I can use the same timer.

i swear the bike part companies are bound and determined to get every penny from bike riders...11 speed stuff has finally gotten reasonably priced so now SRAM has come out with 12 speed! only like 1000-1200 for the full drivetrain!

Well shit! My credit union just called and left me a voice mail. They need to know the nature of my business and why I have all cash deposits. Have a feeling I'm about to get my accounts closed down.

Happy day to me...

I ran into the same issue with my bank looking at me funky when I had all these cash deposits so I don't use a bank for anything I can pay cash for. No deposits more than 3k$ at a time. All the Cash I bring in goes into the safe. When I need to pay off some CC I will deposit the cash to do that. Some pay me in MO these I can deposit direct no issues. Hope it gets worked out my friend. Figure out something like I have done. Only deposit what is needed. Pay for anything you can in cash.

up early today to go ride...riding with the guy who lead us on the sandy nonsense 50 miler last sunday...got kids so normally not available for daytime rides except the weekend long ass rides...gets me back early,got stuff to do today...

Well.....the first half of the mission is done. Now to wait till 2 or 3 am tonight and all will be good in the hood. After the landlord leaves, Imma start to set things back up to get it ready as before. So its all set for the plants to just carry in and unbundle them.

Lil tip for moving plants.
wrap them in plastic food wrap from the bottom to the top, similar to how christmas trees are packaged for transport. It does an excellent job.
