a dream from last night...

i was walking down a crowded hall, and passed a woman going the other direction. a voice in my head said "that is her, THAT is who you are meant to live your days out with..." as these thoughts smote me speechless, she had turned and was looking back at me. after a few seconds, she said "are you sure?" and then "i'm sure too..." and then i woke up...

destiny is not something you can avoid. if you are meant to die in a plane crash, refusing to fly won't help. those things are going to come down SOMEPLACE... when she looked at me in the dream, it was as if she could see right into me and hear my thoughts...waking up was never painful before.

it wasn't WHAT she looked like, although she was attractive; it was HOW she met my gaze and didn't look away. being able to read my mind and respond was just the clincher. "are you sure?" "i'm sure too..."

I have noticed, however, that many times in my dreams people look different than real life, but are familiar to me as the person in real life, just not physically.
