A desperate cry from Italy! -massive raids-

I didn't know Italy had become such a harsh place for cannabis, but I guess it is to be expected with the way things are run over there by the mafia....

In anycase Italy is now off my wish list of places to visit and is now in the list of places to stay well clear of. It might not make much of a difference, but if every stoner tourist refused to go to nations where they are so harsh towards cannabis attitudes would quickly change.

I'll tell you something.
Maybe it's because mafia is more powerful in the south.
Maybe it's just the way it works around big smugglin places.
Maybe I'm just the paranoid pal who seeks conspiracies every day... but the policy of some police offices down here asked their cops to be not too rough "handling youth devoid of precedents, whenever they show willing to cooperate".
This may sound obvious or fine; still, reality is different.

These police offices often patrol three subsequent junctions (remember, we're near a big time smuggling city, lots of retail and wholesale) stopping the cars on their way out; most of the time they stop young men, preferably not alone, asking them for license and logbook, and to get down from the car, since most people here carries stash in their knickers.
If you shake around, you may have something wrapped in tinfoil that stings...

What's the point in this damn story?
When they get you, you may show the biggest will to cooperate, you can tell them everything they want to know... but they will treat you like sh*t and most of the time slap you a couple of times... unless you name _that_ city!!

What's wrong? They don't care a heck about your cooperation, they just let you go with stash from _there_ because it's where _they_ get their damn money from!!! And I'm not talking about dirty cops, it's everything in the managment of the state and of the different territorial institutions.

Don't know if it has anything to do with the south, I'm a part time resident in Calabria, its more that right wing politics is in full effect across Europe... mayors to pigs they all like getting a paycheck but then have to toe a certain line to meet numbers etc.. fuck em hopefully the storm will pass over..

I had no idea things were so bad for you guys. I was there in late summer/fall of 2008 and couldn't find green for most of my stay. I did find some stuff right before I left that was pretty descent but I was wondering why it was so hard to find green. Keep your heads up guys and vote them out of office!

well i hope the message is going out to not contact that place that was busted, if you confirm your order it's like admitting guilt. do not confirm the order. anyone who recently bought stuff without using a safe address or non grow address, needs to clear the decks and clean house. other EU countries have also gone after customers of grow shops and seed sellers. so that's a good reason not to use CC and to use safe address for seed purchases.

Just to let you know, here in Italy, if you SELL hashish/marijuana you risk LESS than if you grow a plant. This is SO STUPID!

Obama & Holder stated no more DEA raids in MMJ states, but they are still happening. Sometimes there are no arrests, but entire inventory and equipment seized, as well as compromising patient/physician info seized that should be confidential under HIPPA laws.
