A Danish Project

Hey everyone..
Finally managed to get some pictures up from my small scale Danish outdoor project this year. The strain is Afghani #1 X Purple Peace. The 8th of may i soaked 12 beans in black tea for 8 hours..after that they spent the night between wet paper towel. Dropped them in the soil on may 9th and a week later 11 showed. Still no sign of the 12 disciple but its ok. I know i planted them very close and in the same container, but this is mostly for funs and ill prolly have to remove some males as i go along, so the girls can get some more room for their feet. Soil is 200 litres of gardening soil mixed with 35% leca(expanded clay balls). I think its about time for me to start feeding these babies some good organic foods, but u tell me what u think.
The plan is to make bubblehash or dry sieve with all of it(crossing my fingers).

Here we go:

Tell me what u think...

Peace

Thanks for ur replies guys..
Heres a lil more pics...since i gave the kids a good footbath with some great nutes, they really decided to reward me. Theyve just hit their 1 month mark and alreade lateral branching are startin..
There one lil runt of the pack tho..but its ok..ima let it stay for now and make sure that none of the more robust kids in the pack bullies it. The sun has really been strong for the last week and it looks as if the weather might stay like this for quite some time :woohoo:
They recieve direct sunlight most of the day and they are LOVIN it..

a pic of the pack

Notice the runt in the left side

Branching

So far the cross looks somewhat uniform in growth and looks, ´cept for the lil runt..i think this might be a keeper..

Snapped a few pics today after the rain :badday: ..the weather has been a lil grey a windy the last cpl of days, but the kids are doin fine...tomorrow is the longest day here in DK(lat.56) and i hope that the sun decides to shine for the declining amount of hours until i chop.
The nutes and sunny days it enjoyed has really paid off..the plants are growing steadily wit the exception of a mutated lil thing..guess its some kind of individual defect that prevents it from absorbing nutes?? But i let it stay since i get a smile on my face every time i look at it :pointlaug

Here they are at about 5 weeks:

And the mutated one:

OK..so now ive got a problem. Im not sure wheter its nute burn or pests...it may be a combo of both...
I HAVE FREAKIN HOLES IN MY FAN LEAVES....it started out a tiny white-ish spots which turned brown and are leaving holes in my fan leaves..they arent curling up or anything, but the brown spots are appearing sporadically on the upper side of the fan leaves...it may be nute burn since i have gone a lil heavy on the nutes..ending as of right now! I havent really been able to locate any bugs, but ive seen threads with the same problem on a Danish board which indicate thats its a minor bug problem..

other than the holes and spots the plants are doing fine..they are growing fast and have a nice dark green color..they are already startin to smell and seems like they thriving...

Any help is would be greatly appreciated.

Well i hope so jokercow. I posted the pics in the Infirmary and i was told that it didnt look like nute burn..so i checked again for bugs and still didnt find any. Then it turns out that the person i had looking after them for a week while i was away, had fed them every single day and even upped the nutes as well.. so i kicked back on the nutes and only fed straight water and it does look as if the problem are on the decline..the new growth arent sporting any signs of spots or holes, so i guess i got off lucky..the damage isnt bad at all.
My cam is fucked atm, but i think ill have some new pics up by the end of the week...

Finally back again!!
pes3fan and jokercow, thanks for stoppin by my humble thread..
No jokercow i havent grown these out before..the beans were gifted to me by a friend who made the cross..he hasnt had the time to pop this cross himself, so its actually their debut. I think his choice of parents were a good one..both wit short flowering time and somewhat resistant..plus im sure the affie will raise the potency of the PP, but also bring down the final yield a bit..i cant wait to see what will happen.
Iven been enjoying the warm sunnny summer and took a cpl of weeks of relaxin wit the missus at the family´s summer house..spent most of the time chillin by the beach, smokin joints and drinkin cold beers. BBQ at nights and lots of red wine..gotta love the summer.
Since my last update quite alot has been goin on in the box...they all showed preflowers and i ended up with 7 females out of 11 plants...the runt i mentioned earlier included in the females..so actually its 6 healthy females and 1 runt that will probably not yield more than a joints worth of weed..but a pretty good M/F ratio..
Males were pulled and i tied one plant down a bit plus some branches on the other ones as well..tried to tie down another plant but the stem snapped on me so i had to duct tape the bitch..no worries after a cpl of days she were fine again.
The intense sun and heat are trying to get the best of my girls but they wont let it..temps reach 50C/120F during the hottest hours and about 18C/65F during the night..flowering has kicked in and they are THIRSTY..i feed them 40 liters of water every night and nutes once a week...and they are bone dry between waterings..

anyways..enough talk.

plants are about 140 cm/4.5 ft now, steadily growin a little more than a inch every day..

Take care and stay safe everybody

Hey world.
Heres another update from the backyard box. I guess i was a lil fast to assume flowering had kicked in..since the last update no real flowers has started to form yet...guess its just eager to keep showing me preflowers.
The weather has been a little rainy, but the girls just enjoyed it and soaked it all up..theyre startin to show needs for more nutes as they have grown quite big now...about 160 cm. Also the larger fan leaves at the bottom are startin to die off now...I know its natural, but just to be on the safe side i upped the N a tiny bit. These girls are gettin bigger than i expected, but thats just a positive thing...i think they might yield quite well after all..
Anyways..nuff talk..

Hiya ICmaggers.
A quick update from the box. The rain has been goin at it steadily for the last week or so, and im startin to get worried now..can this really be the end of the summer? Along with the rain came wind. But my girls can handle it and the stems seems fat enough to resist the wind. I snapped a few pics, but i will be back after the weekend with better ones.First pics was taken while it was still sunny. I pray for more sun every day as im sure other Scandinavian growers are as well.

It was very windy so the pics didnt come out great, but after the weekend ill be back with better ones.

Hey peeps.
Another update is in order now, and im happy to share these pics with yall. My girls are flowering real nice now and since ive bought a new cam i thought id better post some pics. Flowering has revealed the different phenos and i seem to have one more sativa dom. plant and one more to the indica side. and the rest are pretty uniform and displays a more even look. One plant are beginning to look really pale and are losing alot of leaves..this bothers me and if you have got any suggestions id be happy to hear from you. It snapped a branch during the storm, but i tried to save it with tape and string..im not sure how much this will stress the plant. The sativa looking plant are also sporting a pale look and im almost sure that all the girls are lacking N, but im afraid of upping the nutes without being sure..please help me with this if u can..
The Indica looking plant are still showing preflowers, but its reluctant to flower for real..this is also the plant with the greenest color.
Other than that..the purple are starting to show in some of the plants, and it looks like theres gonna be quite some bud...theres practically flowers everywhere...
Well enuff talk.

Group Shot:

Indica still not flowering:

Small bud:

The one to the left is the tied down sativa lookin plant and the one in the middle are the plant which is turning rather pale...Any suggestions are more than welcome.
