Names are the labels that breeders use to categorise the difference between individual cultivar in their seed banks. Many cultivar labels are given "funky' names as a way of marketing these specific genetics to customers.

A medi. example would be GDS Angel Dust [Growdoc Seeds] .. the whole line was produced for the medi. community and is sold at a low price so medi. users can easily access these genetics. Most GDS enthusiasts however simply call GDS Angel Dust by its code name 'AD'.

Most clones on the other hand are NOT labelled by the breeder involved,,, but by commercial growers, dealers, and clone suppliers.

An example, would be Cheese (aka Skunk#1),, a clone that is now heavily marketed to medi. clubs,, while the original genetics are still circulated in the UK for FREE.

We agree that names like 'green crack' do absolutely nothing for cannabis culture... and are aimed at getting youngsters and medi. users to spend their pocket money on weed!

Growdoc's AD is a debatable, even contentious, name. But at least he's aiming at doing a good thing by growers.

In my world anyone who produces on their own property and doesn't harm their neighbors or the environment are do-gooders, and when the universe rewards them with money it is further confirmation of my belief that doing good and producing was their goal. The implication here is that they were 'do-badders'. Just so you know, for many breeders it's actually NOT about money at all - it's no different than breeding roses or tulips.
