Lower nug shots I took around day 40... Shes starting to reek. She likes to put trichs on the fan leaves in my environment, something I don't see her do in many other environments. Ain't she such a beautiful gal?? 😍

Had her for a couple months now. Been super busy with outdoor and keeping 3 flower sections full. Soon as this Sour seed batch is done. This girl has an appointment with a bottle of STS. The baggie is a 6 pack of rooted cuts. Gonna hit them with Sour BX4 F2 pollen. Chem 91' skva

It's always debated but here you go...
I have been around the 91chemdog cut since 1993. I myself received the original cutting that I still take care of in mid 1995 around the time Jerry died. I introduced the friend that had the chemdog cutting to my family in VA and they traded amongst themselves a Francine, which was this sweet indica strain for a 86 Super Skunk from the 86 Super Sativa Seed Club! We used to smoke the kindest of Ganja when I was growing up in the 80's in VA. They were all from the Super Sativa Seed Club.
My favorites were:
Beatrice's Choice
Nigerian crosses
Afghan Crosse
Northern Lights #5
and of course the SuperSkunk

Anyways.... After that trade was made supposedly one of the SuperSkunks stayed on the east coast and another came west. The one on the east side eventually made it's way to Mass. where it shared space in a room with the 91Chemdog run by a relatively ameuter gardener who may have allowed some light to leak and cause a herm on a SuperSkunk which pollenated the Chemdog and that may be where your SourDiesel comes from. I can believe that. Especially after seeing some other "accidents" like the Headband come into existence.
Anyway the plant that i show in pictures are that same cutting that I have been growing since 1995. She's alive and well and proving that a cutting can withstand the tests of time and never really being able to finish her purpose in life and that is to propagate...
SkunkVA used to be a username I used on here when I checked this out about 6 years ago. But i couldn't find my account. This website has been a little difficult to use. I don't get why I can only have 1 message in my inbox at a time.
Help?
I am now (as soon as I figure out) going to start a thread to kinda document a breeding project I'm doing.
I'm crossing the:
91Chemdog
sfv OG Kush
Master Kush
Cherry Pie
with a og kush IBL called: Burmese Kush...
how do i start a fuking thread?

With all due respect, SSSC never offered a super skunk, ever. They had skunk #1 and that was it. They also had a Skunk #1 x Afghani #1 also listed in the catalog in 86.

You could be mistaken for Nevils "The Seed Bank" when you mention Super Skunk but then again there never was an 86 or (80s period) Super Skunk ever released.

Super Skunk first showed itself in 1990. Would love to know where that old Virginia "Mass Super Skunk" really hailed from.

Here she is at day 50/51ish.... The QUEEN 👑... in all of her mighty glory and royalty... Starting to reek hard-core and smelling like a 🦨 Skunk🦨 soaked in kerosene ⛽ and rolled around in rich mossy soil🌲... Best way I can describe her. A tad of burnt rubber in there also...

This lady is special, she will be with me till the end no doubt!!

how are the smells on these? i just did chem 91 x g13. all have a lime smell. one is very skunky and smells distinctly of dog poo. one is lime and black pepper and another is a mix of the two. was wondering if the dog poo smell was like the dog bud pheno?

Update on the S1s. Role reversal at play. #1 had the stinkier stem rub and the plant itself just had a better (stinkier) aroma to it than #2. Now at 5wks into flower #2 has the stinky flowers. And they’re rock hard. Was surprised to squeeze one and find next to no give. She’s also hairier than her sister. Out of 13 girls in the same soil mix and environment #1 has shown herself as the most finicky - at least at this point. Might just be hungry - probably should’ve gone into a larger pot. The cuts rooted nicely so I will be able to run one or both again if worthy…

Looking forward to seeing how #2 finishes as she seems to gain stink daily.

Hoping some of y'all who hold her can help me figure if this young lady is legit once she's near finishing..

I'm one of 3 that I know of who recently purchased a cut. Did some homework and seller seems trustworthy..

I believe SkunkVA mentioned 12 days to throw roots these days?
